Elfball gets its 4th online review:
http://daneofwar.blogspot.com/2008/09/review-elfball.html
Only one factual error in the review. Stating that Impact! purchased Phil's game and published it. The current Elfball rules only vaguely resemble Phil's final version of Elfball that he wrote. Even the board was drastically altered.
Outside of that ... an interesting review. (sorry Illustranger).
And as you guys all know ... if someone wants to give us 30000 GBP ... I'll have a professional box made tomorrow.

The Elfball logo is extraordinarily eye-catching. Were you to see this on a store shelf I think that you would take notice - and if you didn't go and pick up the product right then and there, you'd remember it. It's beautiful and looks like nothing else on the market. As silly as it sounds to go on and on about a logo - anyone in business will tell you that is the most important first impression. |

Hey Tom, just out of curiosity how much would the boxes cost you unprinted?
Also, I could easily create graphics customized to the pizza box shape. They would still need to be glued on. However if you did a wrap-around style application it would look more conventional. You could have the bottom and 2 sides all on one sheet that wraps to the inside of the box and the top one sheet that wraps to the bottom of the lid.
I'm talking about lightweight paper with a semigloss coating. Like what is on most board game boxes. _________________ "I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody."

So anyone think I should starting printing review comments on the back of the box?

That review I like.
Probably The Warden will have a few comments about the appropriateness of that for the "clean" boxed version. |

I think at a minimum you should absolutely include a review sheet and if possible print them on the back of the box! _________________ Thom. . .

Yeah, I think that would be a good idea.
