After ourt introductory game of Elfball, we are discussing trying this out in a dungeoun bowl setting. Does anyone have some variation of the rules for use in Dungeon bowl? I've already got about five modular boards for use with the FF version, but would love to see what everyone here has turned out.

The rules look like they might work extremely well for this. Can anyone give me a few insights into pitfalls and successes in this vein of play? I'm guessing that often times it ends up in a big scrum around the ball, am looking for some advice before persuing this farther.

I've decided to go with 12"x12" tiles with 1.5" squares. This gives a 8x8 tile with the easy ability to make larger 12"x24" and 24"x24" tiles. I can use standard 1 foot vinal tiles for the base and print different tiles on each side. With a little work this should be pretty exchangeable and heavy enough to remain in place. I'll be using Dunjinni to make the tiles and glueing them on. I'll actually probably start with a 2' x 2' center piece with two sides that can be built up from.

Now we just have to come up with some house rules that will allow us to play multiplayer (we usually have three in a game at a time. Elfball & Streetball really looks good for this game.

I'll work on some ideas and post what I come up with later.

Ok Skip I'm in. Just a few comments on our game last night. I think the elfball system works alot better then other systems (not sure what the rules are for mentioning other games) for dungeon games that involve a ball and scoring goals. The alternating activations make the game run alot smoother and I think it makes it more fun. Easier to stay involved, and I really can't wait to try this game out as a 3-way. You really need to get the traps ready for our run on Friday.

Can you post a picture of the setup you're using? I'd be curious about the way the dungeon is laid out. I'd love to make a dungeon out of Hirst Arts plaster blocks.

I've built printed 12"x12" tiles with a 24"x24" center piece. The squares are modular and can be arranged in any manner. Most of the spacing in the original tiles are 39mm, however, the next batch are going to be 30mm spaces. After our Friday games, (I'll take pictures), I'll post some images.

I also posted the first draft of our rules on our club site (minus the traps which are in the works). Once Brett goes over them and we try them again Friday, I'll try and post them here.

The first two games played last night went really well and were a hoot. I'm looking forward to getting this up and running again on Friday.

Looks good, and very big!

Have you tried playing the game with long corridors instead of adjacent rooms.

Actually we have, its one of the reasons I went to the til;ed system. The individual piecves slid a lot and with square tiles they remain in place. Besides, the tiles here are an assortment of rooms and corridors, and the occasional trap and hazard
