Greetings All,

Being careful to avoid any IP issues here...

I would be very eager to get a hold of a team of upright walking, human sized, fantasy football frogs.

3 positions would be the minimum (4 if anyone else like my wacky idea):

Receivers
Attackers
Defenders

And, for added flavor, a large sized Bull Frog "big guy" (am I violating IP there?)

To be honest, I could go for either the comical Wind in the Willows looking frogs or the more serious brutal looking frogs. I suspect most people would prefer a serious look (but I'd be happy to be proven wrong).

Anyone else interested?

That would be great I think! Here is a definite vote for cute.

I thought the same thinga few weeks ago, wanting a frog team, and was looking at conversion possibilities of the eureka frogs that I have. After looking at them carefully, it seems like a hard thing to do...

Anyway, here they are if you want a look

also chronofus has got pics of a few as yet unreleased figures here, frogs and turtles

Another source of frog people is the sci fi ones from team frog

Sweet! I love the king frog:

Frogs would make an excellent team in my opinion. Either style.

I thought Tom had mentioned somewhere that they were having some Frog men produced.

I hope they're going to look less outlandishly stupid then the other versions I've seen on the market. Keeping the essence of frog while also making them look lean and aerodynamic. So while you do want bodies that run into heads without necks, I'd like the heads to not be oversized.

A bit of a mix of frog and lizard really. Anything cutesie looking isn't going to get my money.

Tom will personally oversee the Frogman project I think, so I am sure the end result will be pleasing to all..

yes, tom has always wanted to see minis for a frog team, and probably has good ideas and visions for it, so I have confidence in him ;)

I need to build up some capital but it is on my list.

Ith and I wrote frogs into a popular FF's game background because so many folks have said the team is a lot of fun and balanced to play (and play against).

Ideally I'd like to have 7 figures (3 Midfielders, 2 Strikers, and 2 Safeties). I currently had not planned a large Bullfrog player.

Need about $2,200 to commish those 7 figures. This will be a project I do on my own time/money and then give over to Impact!

So I need to sell some stuff on Ebay ... but it is on my list.

Good good, if they match that wonderful picture in style/anatomy then they'd certainly get my money.

So maybe they shouldn't look like that! :P

HAve to agree. Something looking similar (as close as legally possible in fact) to the classic 2nd ed Slann would interest me Ones in the same style as the ones fatgoblin posted would definetly NOT get my money. Nothing wrong with them as models, just not a style I'd want to buy.

I would want very slim frogs, with only a few pads on. So many dynamic poses that can be made with a frog team, i'd rather not see any just standing around.
