How about keeping players that are injured on the pitch creating some obsticles to get around? Impact! could also produce (yes, later on after all the current teams are done) some injured player minis (kinda like the 2ed ones from the other game, but better)

Hehe now that sounds like fun!
Even house rule it so that you can run over the player (like a Roy Keane Stamp) to be nasty to try to kill a player that is only "not dead" If the player is dead, then he is removed from the pitch as there is nothing to stop you stamping on his head while going through his hex!
But it would have its concequences, like being as illegal as a monster in the faceoff, with the same way of being spotted.
Wonder how many house rules there are in the game used at present, might be a nice idea to compile them and have a house rules compendium for the more fun stuff, like having saws and things like that! And the other interesting skill concepts like the grubber kick skill
