Finally managed to play a proper game of Elfball tonight - Gnolls vs Desert Dogs - 2 1/2 hours for the first score, though we're not using any of the optional or recommended rules changes. Admittedly, a lot of the time was spent double checking stuff, especially for the first hour or so, but we did manage to get the pace picked up near the end.
Anyway, the question.
You flop a Dash challenge - which square do you go down in? I'm sure it's written somewhere, but damned if I could find it!

Remember you are doing the Dash challenge to GET the extra point of Jog to do something. So if you fail the Dash challenge ... you never got the point of Jog to move the extra hex ... that's why it doesn't say in the rulebook because technically speaking there is no way you would have been able to been in that extra hex.

When you say weren't using any of the optional rules, do you mean you were running straight 5.1?
Were you using the 5-Jog = Cost for standing up and the new Throw table?
IMO those two things help more than anything. Well, that and playing about 5 games within two weeks time without even mentioning that other game. _________________ "I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody."
