Just a thread to beg for GenCon previews before next Saturday.

While I can't attend GenCon, I have a friend who is going and is willing to pick up some things from Impact for me.  However, I have to give him my cash  Aug 1st.

So I was hoping that we could get a few spoilers of the new stuff being released with prices.  So far we know about the potion guy and the vampiress.  Will Nothing but Net be on sale?  How much?  I got to get me a copy of that, quite excited about bloody hoops :).

Will the entire Impact catalog be on sale at Gencon?  By that I mean the smaller stuff like basing supplies etc...   I need plastic bases and magnets and would rather Impact take my money... but I completely understand that smaller stuff like that would be a pain to lug to a con for a lower level of sales....

Thanks for any info.

Okay Ted ... GenCon info:

1)  Nuthin' But Net will be for sale.  $15 per a copy of the game.  I'd don't think we'll be organized enough this year to be demoing it but we will have it for sale.

2)  Our entire product line will be for sale at GenCon.   We have a smaller booth this year ... but we do plan on bringing at least 10 of everything.

3)  We'll have all 4 of the Gale Force 9 Warmachine Terrain for sale in our booth significantly discounted (33% or more) from the $95 price they originally sold for by GF9 last year before being discontinued.

4)  We will have the RollJordan Horned Frog team (no Big Frogs from him yet).   Along with his Werewolf and some of his other figures.

5)  Here are the new figure releases for GenCon that we have not already shown (I'm going to have a section for new releases on the shelf so they are not buried this year).

Elfball Dungeon Tiles  ($50.00)  includes all pieces shown
This is a trial run of this product ... we currently only have 9 sets and not sure if we'll get more

Elfball Cards  ($10.00)
Each turn a player takes one card from the deck.  When the deck is empty the game is over (includes a system to break ties).  Makes Elfball a fixed time game per a test.

Bertha Giantfist ($14.00)  .... shown next to Vampiress Thrower  (she will sell with a Prone/Stunned token included)

Beer Garden Beauty #2 ($4.75) standing next to Medium Cooler and Small Cooler
Beer Garden Beauty #2 comes with an alternate arm to replace beer can arm holding a bag of cash

Large Cooler (1 cooler with 2 inserts) $5.00

Medium Coolers (2 coolers and 2 inserts) $4.75 and Small Coolers (2 coolers and 2 inserts) $3.50

Halfling Hot Dog Vendor (Limited Edition of 200)  $8.00

SSB Orc Thrower (Limited Edition of 200) $15.00  (comes with 3 other heads and a Blitzer spiked arm to replace the ball hand if desired)

Lova Taytoopoo - Ogress  (Limited Edition of 200 - Zlurpee Bowl 2009)  $20.00  (comes with a fist hand to replace hand with ball and chain)

Orc Hobimp #1  $3.50

Orc Hobimp #2  $3.50

Chaotic Warrior #1  $4.75

Chaotic Warrior #2  $4.75

Spike 2009 Werebear  $4.75

Spike 2009 Werewolf $4.75

Potion Peddler  $4.75 for Top Hat/Cyclops /  $8.00 for all 3 heads (Cowled Head is limited edition)

Vampiress Thrower $4.75

Dungeon Tiles ... I'm willing to sell these ahead of GenCon to folks that actually take the time to stop by the Impact! forums.

If you want a set the price is $50 USD.

Shipping cost is:

$10.00 USD for USA
$14.00 USD for Canada
$16.00 USD for anywhere else in the world

I have 2 of the 9 sets sold ... so if you know you definitely are going to buy one ... you might want to get them now before they are all gone.

If they all sell out ... I might take the Impact! display set to GenCon with me to take emails of interested parties to see if there is enough to try to get more made.

Gotta get Boulder Brawl finished first.

I have ideas but these tiles came up from a side project before I have thought of it much.

just curious tom, what was the side project the tiles came up for.  And can you describe them (what they are made of and come with)?

by "side project" Tom means "Norse figured there may be a need for these and organised it behind my back before sending me the bill "

they are made of heavy card stock with a felt backing - in addition to the floor tiles, you also get 6 numbered trapdoors (1-6).. I have no idea why I thought they might be of use though.. I must have been drinking again..

sadly, the company we worked with to manufature them experienced some production issues after making the sets, so unlikely we will get more (and even if we did, unlikely it would be at this price!).  All images used were originals and have not been "lifted" from anywhere else..
