Today marks Impact! 3rd anniversary of being in business.
It feels like much longer with all the projects we've gotten involved in.
While I don't have any huge announcements for the business as this year we promised to mostly concentrate on getting out of debt ... I do want to thank all of our loyal customers who have supported us and helped us grow.
Impact! merchandise is sold in stores now in 5 different countries and we now sell more fantasy football figures than any other company out there (in terms of number of models to choose from (not total sales (I wish )))
Between now and our 4th anniversary ... we hope to start looking at other fantasy sports genres. We have a hockey stick sprue that will be released by the end of May that is our first baby step in this direction.
While we don't have any major team sets coming out soon (since we are working on paying off accumulated debt before working on the Sarcos team), we will have a few new figures appear in our store this year.
Items planned to be released this year are currently:
1) Limited Edition figure for the Euc Bowl tournament
2) Limited Edition Orc Thrower for the SSB tournament
3) Limited Edition figure for the Challenge of Q'uermitt
4) 4 figures Limited Edition figures for the Spike and Thunderbowl comics
5) Limited Edition Ogress for Zlurpee tournaments
6) A smoking hot Ogress/Giantess sculpted by Sandra Garrity and PF
7) A Vampirella style Thrower by Sandra Garrity and PF
8 - A sideline / back alley retailer of goods
9) A Vampire (convertible player and fan figure)
10) Limited Edition figure for Pendragoncon
11) New Beer Garden Beauty and beer container
12) Skill Rings in 10 extra colours and the ability to order just one colour
13/14) Two new skeletal star players (Sinsbad and Seth).
So that gives you some insight in to the stuff we have coming out.
Almost all of these items were already commissioned before we went into pay off the debt mode or are being financed directly by a touranment (thus the high number of limited edition figures) ... so we are keeping our promise to focus on paying off that debt so the Sarcos team can become a reality hopefully by the time we turn 4.
Thank you again for all the support you've given us ... we hope we continue to earn that support as we head toward birthday #4.
We do have one surprise prize announcement .... just recently Lorenzio Greggio purchased the 1000th Beer Garden Beauty figure that Impact! has sold so we sent him some extra goodies in his last order for helping us hit this milestone.
In 3 years we've sold just shy of 41,000 pewter miniatures. Not quit our jobs levels ... but its repectible and we appreciate very much the business.
When that number gets close to 50,000 .... we'll have to do a special contest. So something to look forward to before our next birthday.

Well Impact has done very well when you think that thay started trading about when the global recession was just about to start, factor in hobbies tend to be the first things to get "cut" then they are doing great
Its always nice to see a company such as impact do well, they will always have my full support _________________ My mini painting and general Fantasy Football blog!

Happy Birthday! You guys have really done an excellent job so far! Long may it continue!
I honestly believe that many of the sculpts we see appearing on various forums would not have happened without companies such as Impact! opening peoples minds to the fact that you don't have to always go to granny's house to get toys with which to play. _________________ 2010BC - The year the Blighted Crusaders take it to the GT!

The paid off the debt special anniversary fig should definitely be the fabled Grandma Wendy fig! _________________ "I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody."

As I said on TBB, Happy Birthday - the two tourney figs (Pumpkinhead and Mutant Gobbo) would never have existed without you.
