Sorry if this thread seems a little "I don't want to be pedantic but........"
On reading the Rulebook again I noticed a possible error on Page 10 in the Play by Play Example #2.
After the Dwarf shoves the Widowmaker the next paragraph says that the Dwarf has 3 paces of Jog remaining. Shouldn't that be 4 Jog remaining? Dwarfs have a Jog of 5 and it only costs 1 for the Shove Challenge.
Is this an error or have I missed something?

I dont have the rulebook to hand on this computer.... but maybe (tho likely not) I can guess...
Does it show the dwarf as having followed the shoved opponent? Something that I kept forgetting initially was that following up might seem natural (dunno where it comes from ) but it does cost jog.
If thats the case then maybe its something which would be worth making more clear - differences from FF are probably worth highlighting (subtly). _________________ Elfball is for girls...... and pigs apparently, I know which one I am :D |

I believe he is correct. That Dwarf has 4 Jog left.
As far as highlighting differences between Elfball and that other game.
I think it's a bad idea. The more Impact acts like Elfball is an IP shield the less people will take it seriously. Which means they should acknowledge Bl00d B0wl as little as possible, IMHO.
In my opinion it's a shame that Tom is asked questions like "What Bl00d B0wl team are the Gnomes used for?" The Gnome team is used for Gnomes in Elfball...and SECONDLY for whatever proxies they work for in Bl00d Bowl.
Tom's too nice, I would have let that joker know that. _________________ "I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody."

I'll have to check it.
But I think the error would have come from the rules change that added a point of jog nearly across the board....
Becuase there was an error in the Dryads example for a while. (Which I think we got fixed.) I just may have missed the dwarf one. |

Thanks for the replies.
I just had a bit of an 'Obsessive Compulsive Disorder' moment when reading the example and wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.
