Hi all,
Finally got a copy of Elfball (yay!) and am looking forward to playing my first few games soon. Was a bit of a surprise, really, as a mate had ordered it for me for my Birthday, well before I placed my order in the sale... :-)
One quick one: on page 4 of the rules, under CHALLENGE TYPES, the last sentence seems to be wrong/out of place.
The sentence reads, "The below table shows the if a point of Jog is required for a given challenge:". Yes, that's it - the "the if" is in there.
I find this confusing, as the previous, bolded, sentence in the rules states which challenges cost a point of Jog, and which don't. Also, the text immediately following the sentence is a list of actions, and what they mean, not a table.
I think the sentence is meant to read something like, "Below is a list of the different types of challenges in the game".
Apologies if this has already been mentioned - I did go through the forum before posting this, but could find no reference to this.
Other than this one very minor thing, this looks to be a tight set of rules, and should make for a lot of fun games.
Can't wait for the miniatures to arrive!
