I was thinking, it might be interesting to give some players secondary/tertiary skill sets. Not exactly sure how this would work, but I think it would be good to open up the basic skills of any position to other positionals as advanced skills.

Example: a midfielder has enough EP for two skills first he gets the basic midfielder skill rally then he decides he wants to get cheapshot as an "advanced" skill. He cannot get access to any advanced cheater skills, but he could get access to any basic positional skill if he already has a basic positional skill from his normal advancement "tree".

depending on the type or maybe even the team you could set up special secondary skill trees.

I like this cause it would give access to some skills that normally cannot be aquired by a team but could come in handy on occasion such as cheapshot, cut block, etc. I would want to try to limit some access though I don't want to see a monster with clipping.

This could be a good thing though for maybe just midfielders, a true jack of all trades who can get basic skills in any set.

Again, I am just tossing this out there. Criticism, comments, ideas are all welcome to flesh this idea out.
