Hi
I was wondering if there were any proposed FF teams for some of these miniatures? Specifically the razorbacks and gnolls. If people use them as another team, which one fits the models best? I assume it would be beastmen.
I realize that some of these models are to fill in holes or give alternative models. I was just hoping for some new and balanced teams.
I plan to make an all beast team and use them for the Evil Dwarf roster. Razorbacks replacing dwarves, and Gnolls replacing goblins. Converted both bulls, just need to find time to paint the team now. _________________ Zlurpee Forums

Yeah time never seems to cooperate with me either. _________________ By guru they mean slave....

I planned exactly the same thing. Then Heresy released Dark Lord Va'dur and I just went with CDs in losts of white (like stormtroopers, except my painting sucks nuts so it didn't work too well ). Was going to use boars as the bottom half of the centaurs with razorbacks on top.
My 'Nordic' team looks suspiciously Divine Wind though _________________ Officially rubbish at all fantasy football games
I did see this document. I did a search on TBB and found the original discussion on the team development.
The final decision was the MBBL2 roster.
0-12 Gnoll 7337 Strip ball, alpha female G 70K
0-4 Gnoll Scout 8337 Shadowing, Pass block, GA 100K
Alpha female gives +1 ST, sure hands, leader, and S access to the gnoll with the highest SPP's. You can pick one player to be alfpa at team creation.
Question: In LRB 5.0 how would you work the alpha female cost, and what if she loses her status and has a strength skill she should not have access for?
Some other idea was a dirty player team (not sure if I like that) and one based on a 7328 lineman which seems interesting. It went like this
There are 4 models so I need 4 positions, but I suppose that two different models could fit for line men.
Would these work in a LRB 5 enviroment? overpowered or underpowered? The last rster has 4 positions so that works well with the models. Should the blocker have a different skill instead of block? Perhaps stand Firm? _________________ I'm really atropabelladonna but I f*cked up the sign up

I would have the Alpha Female cost be the game as a normal Gnoll. 70k + improvements. The +1 ST, Sure Hands, and Leader would be free upgrades.
If a player lost Alpha Female status and had ST skills I would count them as 30k skills ... likewise if they gained Alpha Female status the ST skills should be counted as 20k skills (so when a player loses or gains the Alpha Female skills their cost could change depending on skills).
The point I've found with TV is you want to try and keep it simple so that you can just look at the roster and know the prices are correct.
One of the biggest things I need to really look at with the MBBL2 if we move to TV is what to do with the Personal Apothecary rule (I have a feeling that I'll go the easy route and say you figure the player's value and then double it if they have a personal apothecary). Anyway ... this is just reinforcement for having any rule with TV be easy to do visually so an opponent can look and know the roster is correct.
