You may remember my Blue and White Thunder Hammer team
(these ones: http://artistsunited.myfreeforum.org/about2185.html ).
They were intended for use at an international Fantasy Football tourney. The captain of the team I will be playing for, who allegedly has something to do with this here company, decided he wanted to use the bearded boys, and I was delegated a different team. Luckily I have had a batch of suitable figures lying around for a few years awaiting paint (so long that I actually bought them from Phil himself). This was the motivation to bring them up to the head of the paint queue. Similar colour scheme, Blue and White. The winged helmets made me think of Angels, which fitted nicely with the name of the estate which later became the campus of my Alma Mater. Perfect. Only later did I remember that Angels is also the nickname of one Sweden's most successful football clubs...who just so happen to wear blue and white (though I was damned if I was going to attempt stripes on these!)
