...how about an Oozling team? Various ooze (humanoid or not) "poses" ready to stomp the opposition into the mud. Maybe bits of skulls or other bones in their ooziness to vary things up a bit.
Got to be incredibly easy miniatures to sculpt or proxy, relatively speaking.

MUDMEN!
I think you and I are on the same wavelength, sir! I suggested mudmen some time back on this board.
Okay well Redspace actually did the work to make the team
| Redspade wrote: | Here is my version of a mudman team
0-1 Mudolem 454215 Monster
0-4 Mudlings 624432 Cheater
0-2 Oozers 632442 Striker (Blobs)
0-4 Mudmen 633333 Midfielder
0-1 Mudmaster 623343 Thrower
If the team sucks let me know. |

Its an interesting idea ... at this time ... we are focused on getting the last 5 teams finished (Middle Kingdoms, Sarcos, Timberline Elves, Orcs, and Ratmen)

Galak, do you have an updated (and of course entirely draft) timetable of when those teams are scheduled to be sculpted/released?
If that's too cheeky a question I apologise. I'm just curious. :)
Cheers,
Ben. |

Mudmen, that would be cool. But even more "out there", they don't have to be "men" or humanoid at all. Just amorphous blobs on a base.
But I think I do like the idea of mudmen. And your picture of them. I don't think that the team needs a mudgolem/monster, and I think that they're a little too fast for what mudmen need to be. None of them should be faster than 5. _________________ This is where I would put something witty. |

I did a sketch of a mudman with stone football armor, but my scanner is on the fritz right now.
My goal is to do 5 Elfball "out there" sketches a week. I haven't drawn anything serious for awhile and I am out of practice. This will get my edge honed. _________________ "I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody."
