I've been slowly moving along with some of the phils line. I'll get the numbers painted on the base soon but I thought I would share what I had done to this point. I'm not particularly happy with the face but it'll have to do. Atleast she looks evil.

And a back shot of the blonde linewoman

I really like what you have done with the blue and yellow colour, they look great, can not wait to see the entire team.

It's a good thing I take pictures of what I've done. I just noticed that the base is painted blue and not yellow... DOH!

Atleast I caught it before I painted the numbers and varnished the little girl....

Just reposted the picture with the proper base colour. Hopefully I'll have the thrower and hunter done in the next week.

ahh...looks great. I really like the way you did the bases. I think I am going to do that with one of my teams.

You should. It's not like it was my idea originally. I think pretty much everything has been said and done in the painting mini's but there is always your interpetation and style to add to it.

When it comes to gaming pieces I'm tempted to only do the bases and not the rest of the fig. Someimes I get distracted when I chip a mini I spent hours to paint, but what fun is it to play with unpainted minis.

I totally agree.

As for the base rings... I like how you made it so the colours are bordered in black. Very classy.

One down one to go. I finished the hunter now just the thrower and I can move onto something other than widows. I'm not really sure what will be next. I think the divine wind need some attention but I'll likely do a few of my own projects as well.

So many minis to paint so little time.
