2007 thoughts and 2008 the year ahead2007
=======
So we lost a president ... gained a new president and ended up with 3 dedicated partners.
Overall for the year, we lost enough money to buy a full loaded Volkwagen Beetle SE with cash with enough left over to put gas in it for the whole year. But we actually had profitable months the last 3 months of the year so maybe we have finally turned the corner.
We came out with our own board game and I had a lot of fun playing it with many friends. Dedicated folks even made an online version that people can use to play.
We add a lot of new products to the store that were unique to the community ... felt mats, gaming tokens, 30mm bases, and football dice.
All in all a good year for our first full year in business.
2008
========
As of today, we currently have 50 new miniatures planned for release in 2008 and hope to be able to add full Elfball teams for Gnome, Black Rock Dwarves, Thunder Hammer Dwarves, Siringit, and Samhaino to the catalogue. We are currently only 74 miniatures away from selling more fantasy football figures than any company in the world (not making this a goal for 2008 ... but it could happen).
We'll be at GenCon again and are currently planning to sponser an Elfball tournament on Sunday.
We also have great hopes that maybe just maybe that Impact! will finally pay off the losses of 2006 and 2007 so running Impact! is more than a charity service to the gaming community.

Thanks to everyone who helped us in anyway (and to everyone who bought stuff (that's helping a lot!)). Your suggestions and comments have helped make this a company I love running and look forward working with you all against in 2008.

glad to have found impact this year and am enjoying my elfball. Hoping for a great (and profitable) year for y'all. I am looking forward to buying the gnomes when they come out and will keep trying to spread the word to my limited circle of gamers.
Thanks for providing the charity that you do, now lets hope that profit rolls so you can continue to provide us what we need for this adictive gaming habit.

My family bought me several nice figures for christmas. I really love them.
Thanks for taking the risk and sticking with it.
One of my resolutions is to train every week for that elf ball tournament. I plan on being ready. That and my demo skills need dusted off. :D
It seems like a long way from Indy in august right now, but I'm sure I'll wake up in "a few days" and be needing to pack to see you lot again.

Breaking down the 67 new figures currently planned for 2008 for those of you that have asked (just counting heads as unique figures):
Gnome team:
3 - Contraptions (althought you'll be able to make 9 total with the combinations of head, torso, and legs)
1 - Bazooka Jo-Nome
3 - Speciality Arms for Contraptions (Buzzsaw, Hammer, and Spring loaded Glove)
1 - Mushroom Sprue
Thunder Hammer Dwarves:
13 - Dwarf figure
Samhaino:
4 - new figures
Deadling:
2 - Deadlings
2 - Deadwoods
Black Rock Dwarves:
2 - Dwarves
3 - Dwarven Centaurs (6 total possible with combos)
Siringit:
13 - new figures
Targeted:
5 - Minotaur figure with 5 different head options
1 - Female figure
Tournament limited Edition:
10 new tournament figures in process currently
Sideline:
2 new babes for the sideline
Sprues:
2 new conversion sprues

If all of these get produced ... we'll only be 14 figures away from having the most fantasy football figures of any company out there for sale.

I'm sure Tom will clear it up before too long, but if I recall correctly, I believe that one of the new Deadlings is going to be another Wight sculpt, and that the new Deadwoods will be similar to the current ones but about half the size.
On a more general note, not many companies can make me want to thank them for forcing me to spend my money -- but Impact! is definitely one of those rare few! Thank you, guys, for everything you do for our hobby!

Deadlings are an extra Wight and a Star Player Mummy.
Deadwoods are similar to the existing ones but at about half the scale.
So lahatiel had it right!

Any thoughts as to when these might become available. I definitely want to put together a "Bad Dwarf" team for the coming year.

they are only now being started by the sculptor.. my best guess would be mid year to be honest..
but you don't have to wait for the centaurs to start the team.. I should know, I won two consecutive tourneys without any centaurs in my roster...

We are totally at the timeline of FatGoblin working on these 4/5 figures. So I'm not sure when he'll be able to complete them.
Illustranger put together some great sketches for the Dwarven Centaurs which Fatgoblin now has ... so we wait and see.

Well, I wish Impact! a great year 2008 too. And thanks for the 2008 new minis list, Galak. Could you tell us what kind of minis will be the 4 Samhaino minis ? And, about Sarcos, you showed us some very nice drawings on an Elfball post, will we have to wait until 2009 ? Or is your list just a careful list which really could get longer ?

IF Impact! sales are good enough to pay off the partner debt early enough in the year ... then the Sarcos will definitely be produced in 2008.

We hope to produce 2 Midfielders; a Thrower; and a Hunter during 2008.
