Hi,
ummm...first time poster, long time listener *heh*
Anyhow, Have you tried to vacuform any pitches yet?
My FF group up here in Minnesota have been having a dire shortage of decent pitches (or any pitches) to play on when there are multiple games going on.. We had a tourney recently and he same problem came up
So the thought of vacuforming jumped into my pointy little head.
If you haven't tried vacuforming there are about a billion recources on it from google, Basically though..
Using a sheet of thin heated plastic,you pull it over a template placed on a vacuform board (perforated base). In @ 2 seconds you have a "x"mm thick replica of the original mold.
I was toying around with the idea of making a rather detailed board (Cry havoc magazine had some amazing articles on stone/dungeon based scenery) and whipping up a few dozen copies of it to give as swag for the next tourney. Anyhow, it would be an extremely cheap/fast way to make somthing that basically everyone could use..
Just a thought.

Interesting idea. To get more usuable boards at a quicker pace, though, I'd suggest purchasing some of Impact's felt gaming mats: http://artistsunited.myfreeforum.org/about1118.html ;)

At this point our board design is the felt mats that lahatiel linked to. If we decide to offer up more types ... this will definitely be something we look into. At this point, Impact! resource up through August are very limited ... so I have to be very selective with what we get into project wise.
