A 'wanted' list?I've been working on a few bits and pieces over christmas, and wondering if you've got a list of things you are lacking, or looking at producing, or whatever. I've seen a reference to such a list from the past (though I couldn't find the list itself) and wouldn't mind having a gander at it, for a bit of inspiration or to see if I've got anything that might serve your purposes, or something half done that might be steered that way.
Also, it gives the sculptors on the board some inspiration to work with or an idea of what you're working towards, particularly for those who don't have much of a grasp of, um, existing fantasy football ranges and their limitations.
Thanks,
Nex

I have to dig it up. I know one of the items on the list that I'd love to see in Targeted is a proper 'Sausage in a Bun' vendor. I'm thinking of a cool CMoT!D figure.

I have to look to see what else was on the list ... that's the one that I really remember off the top of my head that would be fun to have in Targeted if you could sculpt it well.
Another figure that I thought would be interesting would be a FF Ogre in gear that resembled (without directly violating Marvel's IP) the Juggernaut. So the domed helmet would be good and the thick body armour ... but a spike or two on the shoulders ... a hand spike ... spiked knuckleduster and such would be interesting.
Also need 3 Gilla Worm FF players to fill out the Reptiliad team.
Also would like to see a revised version of a Deadlands Vampire that I think is just an awesome image for a FF player. Nosferatu style Vampire in a 3 point stance that suggests speed and agility more than it does going to plow you over power.
Those are five figures that I remember off the top of my head that were on the possible to consider list.
Sorry if I'm not rolling out a list of dozens of figures. The amateur sculptors have been coming out the woodwork lately (which is AWESOME ... need to say that again AWESOME ... we've now paid out well over 1000 GBP in just commissions from figures in our store during 2006) and we are honestly having trouble keeping up with the greens/grays coming to us from these sculptors (heck even 5 professional sculptors now have contracts with Impact! to do Targeted figures) .... and a life time of being a gamer is having wierd side effects. For example Phil Lewis gave Impact! permission to cast two of his never released figures that were part of my personal collection which we've scheduled for the Master Mould that we do AFTER the Gnome mould (which will be full).
So the biggest thing for doing a figure for Impact! is to REALLY want to do the figure. If the thing that you are sculpting inspires you ... you are most of the way there.
(footnote ... that is a page from the book "Where's My Cow" by Terry Pratchett above. If you love Discworld and have a young child ... its a fun book. My 7 year old goes around the house after we read it at night saying things like Bugerlit and Fink, Fink, Fink)

Can I (re-)request a druid with horn and wrsit sundial as a timekeeper (a la Asterix in Britain) as a turn marker?
(Unfortunately I don't have a copy any more, and I can't find a scan of a pic online anywhere.)

Sounds like a reasonable enough add on.
Now that we have a few full Impact! teams under development (Egyptian, Serengeti, Deadling, Gnome) ... side figures seem more reasonable to look over. We also have Phil Bowen working to add more figures to fill out his two most popular teams.
