Beast of Nergal / CthulhuHere is my latest conversion, thought i posted it here since it is a FF-model although he is from another company than impact.
Thinking that maybe i need a smaller version to add as a fan or maybe a player for my deadling team, would it be interesting with such a player for the targeted impact range?

Thanks for the nice comments guys. :)
Do you think i should sculpt a shoulderpad for him?
It is a little tight with the wings. Maybe i could just pass his leg-plate as a shoulderplate.
And i had to redo the middle-tentacle, it was a little shorter than the others and i realised that if i didn't do it now, i would be so bothered by it everytime i look at the mini.

I wouldn't worry about the shoulder pad. The football is enough IMO.

Where is his helmet?
Only kidding!
Excellent job, full of character

I tried to put a helmet on him, but he complained it was to small... talking about eternal damnation of my soul and stuff like that, so i decided it was best to leave him without the helmet.
As he is bigger than most other bigguys, he will probably not get hit in the head anyway.

One thing I would consider, is getting rid of those wings! Maybe you might consider having slimy sticky tentacles on the back to trap sneaky elves who try to sneak up from behind
Right now it looks like he can fly at will

something like a doctor octupus or whatever you call him from spiderman, but instead of robotic arms you have slimy green things, something that springs to mind is the cartoon Jase and the Wheeled Warriors cartoon from way back!
Maybe two strands of Pro Create to make a few types of those arms, and obviously no saws on the end

Cthulhu are usually pictured with wings.
Here is the kind of look i wanted.
I guess i just have to give him leap at first double.
Also, it is kinda to late now, already started painting him, my vacation ends tomorrow so i hope i will manage to finish painting him today. Will post more pictures as i progress.

And finally managed to get a photo of him in painted form together with his teammates.
Sorry for the blurryness in the front, need more light so i can get a better shot.

very nice team. I like your rotters a lot, because the normal rotters people use are not very nice.

Drool all over. I generally do not like Nergal teams, I publically admit they give me the willys. BUT I like the looks of your team.

I agree ... this elder god is almost always pictured with wings.

Thanks for all the nice comments.
I spent some time with that team, especially converting it.
Next up are deadlings.
If i get some spare time, i might sculpt a cthulhu for impact... If there are no IP-stuff hindering a release of such a mini.
When sculpting the head on this one, i learned a few stuff which i would use to improve a new sculpt to make it more mean.

Very nice team! I am, of course, biased towards my own Rotters team and thus cannot say that yours is the best Rotter team I've ever seen.. but then, I might not be completely honest with myself. I know for sure that I can't touch your level of painting with a 10-foot pole.
Funny thing, I'm currently working on a Warrior for said team and came up with the same idea for a head...
Ages ago, I did a Cthulhu-inspired Nergal Demon Prince. While I wanted the mini to have wings (it's appropriate and adds a nice "framing" effect to the head), I decided to use very small and stunted ones... The demon prince is about the size of your beast but uses teeny-tiny wings cut from an old Harpy. I liked the overall effect, since it accentuates the bulk of the demon's body and makes him look strangely out of proportion, befitting an extraterrestial being.
Sorry, I don't have pics of it and anyway, it was painted almost 10 years ago.. .no WAY would I show off a pic of that green thing.
