Chaos Warrior WIPI joined the Impact! forums with the intention of having a crack at sculpting a few FF minis, eo to that end here's a quick wip scan of what I've been doing with my free time!
He's a FF Chaos Warrior. I'm working on alternative arms as well, one set with a chainsaw ('cos people were gonna ask for it anyway!) and a axe & shield combo so he can be a non FF mini if desired!
I'm thinking of putting it forward for Targeted Impact, either that or getting him cast up myself, not sure yet!
Anyhoos, feed back apreciated!
BTW this is my first Pro-Create piece, it's taking a bit of getting used to hence the odd bit od Brown Stuff here and there but I'm finding it good on a whole.

That's very nice, I'm more interested in seeing what the non-chainsaw arm is like as Grandma Wendy still supply the Chaos Chainsaw looney. But, on the other hand there can never be too many chainsaws.
I'm personally not so keen on the right arm, is that a ball? Players carrying balls is a major turnoff for me. Especially where non-thrower/runner positions are concerned, so I hope there's an alternative for that (if it is a ball that is.)

it is a ball, and I am making a 'free' right arm, maybe with a spike or knuckle duster of some kind. I just wanted to make him look like he's playing and didn't want him to be over dynamic as I think it would detract from the 'I'm a broody bad ass' image I get when I think of chaos warriors.

Cool, well for what it's worth. It's better than the Grandma Wendy FF Chaos Warriors and if it sells well, I'd like to see 3 more (or a decaying variant on this player.)

Looks good to me. A Chaos team is very near the top of my list of "teams to do", so anything that adds to my choices is good in my eyes.

Hold on to your underwear, here's an update!
The straight up 'a' verion is done bar a few touch ups, I'm still working on another set of arms without a ball and the choice of adding weapons, and a couple of other heads.
C&C apreciated.

Very nice - a more synamic pose than the Grandma Wendy offerings.
It might be the pic, or the angle of the fig, but the left hand doesn't look as well sculpted as the rest of the fig (a minor critism, as I really like this one).

two quick things.
1) thanks for stopping by to give us an update!
2) Its my understanding that you were going to let Andy @ Heresy cast this one ... correct? Don't care if you are ... just making sure that the images here are "hey look at what I'm working on" and not "hey Impact! look what you might get a chance to cast". It helps me know how to comment in the thread ...  
So for now I'll say ... "I look forward to see this guy cast up for Death Bowl". (if this is wrong ... let me know and I'll insert the appropriate "d*mn looking forward to working with you to cast him" comment. )

it's a great looking sculpt and no mistake..
if Heresy cast it (presuming Andy has a working machine these days ) I'll be sure to pick up one or two..
if Impact! get to cast it I'll also have to paint it up instead of adding it to the rest of my unpainted lead collection..

Well, I really like it too (for its dynamic posture and also its smelling darkness niark niark) but I have a question : isn't it human size more than chaos warrior size ?
PS : It wouldn't be a problem for me cause I would love to have a chaos humans Fantasy Football team but it's just because it's difficult for me to see what size is it on the pictures.

Galak: Andy has expressed an interest in casting him, I've also had a couple of other offers as well! As yet I'm still deliberating on where to go with it, at the moment though Heresy seems like a logical move for me!
Sebco: He's 35mm to the top of his Helmet, so he's as tall as a Grandma Wendy plastic CW given that his pose lowers him a little. He's not as bulky as the Grandma Wendy platics, but this was a concious dession as I wanted him to have a feel of the early Jes Goodwyn FF Chaos players, plus it'd be realy impracticle to play FF in a heafty armour suit!
