Djengis goes Green (Sculpt......)here's not my first sculpt.. I've made some before but those were terrible...this one isn't finisched yet.. and still I'm not very satisfied... I've been working on him for quite a while not, everytime putting it aside and starting over again.. seeing the sculpts by the "amateur" sculpters gave me the spirit and I'll try to finisch him now.. I have no clue what he could be.. Definately not even close to the Impact minis but I hoped I could get some good tips here... 
http://www.freewebs.com/mongoltroll/Sculpt.jpg sorry for the bad pic quality... some things on the "to do" list: - making the horns a little bit bigger - better sculpting on the fist - cleaning up the hooves - the left 'small shoulderpad makng a little bit bigger - smoothing everything up... - making some better pics so you can actualy see the mini to comment.. please tell me what you think! he's a bit big... anyway.. Good effort - He is quite a big guy eh?
Advice - If your not happy with a part of it, just remove it and try again (and again...and again...  )
Edges (like on the sleeve) are hard to get 'sharp', you need to keep going back to what you have done and re-shape to keep the edges sharp (I'm not that good at it - but that's the advice Mike (Fubar) gave to me  )
I'm looking forward to seeing your sculpt completed - good stuff so far

Hey cool! Looks nice. His horns lok a bit like small ears. A bit tall but not too much imo. Could be an Ulf. | ||

Whats an "ulf" ?? I guess you dont mean an elf..  ... ALF?
I just started sculpting him..there aren't many Fantasy Footbal minis with hooves so I wanted to make one.. but I need to get the hooves better.. also got a nice idea for a Rat cheerleader... but hard to sculpt.. (off to the "suggestion" topics) thanks for the comment! Djengis |
