dont like ANY of them as much as Jack though :P if he cant die, and he has a gun (nay, TWO) that can kill daleks, why dont they send in the one man homoerotic messenger of DOOM? |

You actually like Captain Jack? Ruddy heck, I didn't think anyone could like John Barrowman after the hack acting job he's pulled in Torchwood. He's simply and awful one dimensional actor who has no range what so ever. In short he's a flunk out from the Sean Connery school of acting.
So far I'm 2/4 for predictions. Hopefully I'm right on one of the final two but wrong on the other one. The episode itself was very good, but I'm holding judgement until I see exactly how it resolves next week. RTD has a habit of building up amazing momentum in the few episodes before the finale and then fails to deliver with the final episode. I'm hoping that this isn't the case here, but we'll see... This review of the episode is worth reading btw. |

Slightly off-topic, but did I miss an episode of Torchwood that explains why Owen and Tosh aren't mentioned? 
Oh, and I like Capt. Jack (in a totally non-homoerotic way), though I perfer him in Torchwood than riding the Doc's coattails. |

Not mentioned? Spoiler for Torchwood Season 2 coming up... (Can we get spoiler tags into the forum code by any chance?) Because they both died at the end of the last season of Torchwood... |

Yup, it was a darn fine episode as well, (this from someone who thinks Torchwood is tat and only worth watching to see bits of Wales).

Dr Who is great but would be much better if they didnt go around being overdramatic and tearful about every last thing, when doing something fast is likely to be vital you'd have thought they'ed just get on and do it..... How many times have the Daleks been extinct in the recent series? |

Just saw the American broadcast and I have to saw...GREAT!
How many times have the Daleks been extinct? Alot...which has made me question more than once why the Time War is still locked.  As far as I know it was only locked to keep the Daleks extict...how many times do they need to come back before the Doctor goes back and gets some help?
Anyway, one of you Brits that knows please answer one question... "Doctor Donna" was said at the end of the episode...is this a temporary thing? A sort of "temp" plot device? She's said a million times "I'm just a temp." so I hope so. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me the new Doctor is not Donna Noble! please?
