Elfball gets a ranking by BoardGameGeekOkay where I'm happy here is that MANY board games NEVER receive a ranking by BoardGameGeek ... so just getting to the point where you are ranked is a major first step.So right now Elfball is the 2,913th best board game out there according to BoardGameGeek ...  It's a start.

I don't know, it seems like there are a lot of people who are interested in it. There were people at Gencon who had played fantasy football but weren't interested in its current form. Either they didn't like Grandma Wendy, or they had played it in its 2nd edition form, or they had dropped out of 3rd for various reason. And to a man, all of them were excited (I believe genuinely) about Elfball. I think there is a group of fantasy sports players out there that aren't interested in LRB but still would like to play something. Shoot, I'm one of them! |
