Elfball Legacy Team Secondary Color Poll

Orange will be the primary team color.  Please pick a secondary color to go with it.  I tried to add the secondary colors that were suggested in the primary color poll.  If I missed something, please vote other and post in this thread.

I voted yellow.  As I mentioned in the first poll, I thought Impact Colors would be cool.
Dark Lord

IMHO Orange and Yellow will be a terrible choice for the Siringit team and I would urge you guys to really think about it.

Sure Orange & Yellow are Impact's colors but does everyone in this competition think they have the ability to make the furry yellow armor stand out from the furry yellow skin on a hyena, a lion, a cheetah, or a meercat?

It's a fine idea, and one I like, but not for the Siringit team. IMO even if a good painter could put them in a Yellow & Orange kit they still aren't gonna look that great. They need colors like black, green, blue, white, red, & purple.

Same reason you don't see many Orc teams with green kits.
Torg

Blue is the complimentary colour to orange, so would look really good.
I might be tempted to be a part of this, as long as the colour sceme doesn't turn out to be really bad (like the orange and yellow DL mentioned).
Ted Striker

I don't think yellow would be that bad.  Too me, cheetah is only one that is yellowish.  But as I recall, it is can be more of a golden brown similar to the lion.  Guess I'll go google some pics. But I'm not trained in art as DL.  So I definitely defer to his opinion.  Still, I  like the Impact color idea though.  It will be fun regardless.

I don't really care what color wins the poll.  I'm sure blue will look nice as well...
Dark Lord

In reality the paint job isn't going to exactly match the real thing. Only the most skilled painters taking the most time and care will get perfect reality matching results...and that's not the sort of paint job you do for anthropomorphic rugby playing animals IMO.

Just as you say the cheetah is the only yellowish one, cheetahs aren't yellow at all...but they will be painted that way.

So just like the cheetah, the hyena will be yellow too.

So looking at that bottom lion pic, maybe you can see why I am against orange and yellow.

One important question: the colours should be applied to the armour and rope or to the fell of the miniature itself?

Because I thought to paint the felt in greyish/white tones and the armour/rope with the coulours voted.
Ted Striker

colors should be applied as you see fit.  I think your plan will look fine.
