FF-CyclopsHi everyone!
This is my first post here. My nameīs Oliver and I live in Berlin. Usually I just paint miniatures, but a week ago I decided that I wanted to do some sculpting as well. So this is my first sculpt. I wonder what you think about it?
@Chairface: Thanks for wooing me over here, mate!

Great first sculpt, Redfink. That's exactly how I started too!
What did you use for the sculpt? Modeling clay? Just curious...
Yes, Chairface has a lot to answer for

I have to agree with Ewan and I'm sure most people will have the same opinion. Great first sculpt. It has alot of character. The details stand out nicely.
There's one thing I think that all sculpters should do even though I know it's not always the case, paint thier own miniatures. It would give them a greater appreciation of what details matter and what details do not.
I hope you keep at it Redfink. Only good things will come out of it for you and all of us.

Thanks! Glad that you like him!
@Ewan: I used Fimo and GS. But I painted the whole mini grey because I couldnīt get good picures of the white Fimo-parts...
@Urb: Iīm planning to paint him some day! Iīll show you the painted version once itīs finished!
Alright, guess Iīll start on my second green now!
Greets,
Oli

I was thinking that this piece is reminiscent of early work by Fondu. Keep on going Redfink. You should have something castable before you know it.
