GenCon 2009 Pictures (14 in all ... slow loading for some)Just wanted to show you guys the booth from 2009 .. not sure if I've ever posted pics from this massive convention.

I spent way too much money at that booth behind us (they had bought the rights to Formula Di and re-released it! with extra stuff in it now and new tracks) ... but then they had two guys come and buy Elfball and our stuff as well ... so I think it balanced out!
We had a great show and have already rented our booth for next year as well as Origins for 2010.

Noted at the back of this picture you had some greens photographed that appear to be Hobgoblins one of which is Pugs "Snid Vicious" / Rashank Backstabber (which I know you are releasing) - is Impact going to be releasing the other 3 or 4 pictured??
Also what is the miniature on the far right painted in red & white??

The greens in the back are 4 new Black Rock Hobimps and the "Snid Vicious" model. In addition is majortusk's Treasure chest and bomb sprue and a 3rd Chaotic Marauder (note the flat land under his feet was cut off and is being replaced with a base tab)

I think that booth was the perfect size for you guys. Glad to see you are going to be at Origins too that is pretty cool.

Is it just me or has Ramz lost some weight?
I love the third chaotic marauder...may have to pick a couple of those guys up when you release them.
I WILL come next year. I WILL. Someone remind me when registration starts and I WILL be there. (and of course, if Impact can use another pair of hands then I'll be happy to lend mine. And if you guys are going to book a hotel room and wouldn't mind adding another to share I don't snore as bad as Gav).

You must have misheard them. Often "wind up on the floor" is what they probably meant.

(Warning thread sidetrack/hijack!)
I slept on a bench in the train station in Nottingham in 1981. . . We went on a pub crawl and missed the last train that night, my room mate went home with a pretty gal he met in a pub and I got left with the bench! (Story of my life. . . *Sigh*) Somewhere along the way we misplaced another fella, but he beat us back to the base! (I was in the USAF then, stationed at RAF Upper Heyford) Nottingham was a long way to go just to get drunk, but monthly Rail passes were so cheap that we would hit different cities often, then hit the pubs as fast as possible. Sometimes we would stay overnight at a B&B but usually we just made a day trip of it, getting back to Oxford on the last train in the wee hours and getting a taxi back to the base. I think it was in Stoke on Trent where we found the mostest bestest pub in the whole damn world!
The friendliest pub town we found though was Inverness Scotland, we stayed there two days and never once paid for a drink. Tenby Wales was a close second place though! Our "Home" pub in Lower Heyford was a pretty cozy place too, and they were used to putting up with Yanks so they were more tolerant than many of the places we went. (Damn! That was all 27-29 years ago. . . I am suddenly feeling very old!)
