GenCon eventsOuch ... just looked at signups for my events at GenCon. 21 for the GenCon Bowl ... but more important to me ... only 1 !!!! person is registered for the Elfball tournament.
Wow .. going to be pretty easy to win the top prizes I think.

I'm assuming that as odd man out I don't sign up.? If I need to sign up let me know.

Boy I'd hate to see the tourney canceled for lack of interest...WTF? I thought this board was fairly active and Elfball was growing in popularity?
Maybe some advertising on TBB or other mini forums would be ion order?

Won't be cancelled ... just means you get 1st and I'll give Lycanthrope the prizes for second after you play one game.
Pretty sweet score for you in Impact! goodies and you'll be able to go do some other stuff then.
I'm okay if we are still growing this. Honestly won't hurt my feelings ... everything has to start somewhere ... and at least I have one player.

NOT likely!!! I've played three games and counting. I've only played the other game for a few years, mostly at tourneys, and that is the total of my war gaming experience. I'm just now getting so I can win a few games, worst orc coach in the USA.  Not pretty, but I'm learning. I'll probably get in another 3 to 10 games of EB before GenCon against my 13 year old daughter.

I really, REALLY must get some Elfball games in, but i recently brought the Wild West Warhammer historical book, so t looks like I'm going to be playing Cowboys and Injuns for a little while...

If I lived closer I would go... but then again with the 45 minute rule I might only get three turns in or so looking at my previous test experiences.

If it does end up just you and I let's make it fun. Our teams need to be 180 points (or whatever the number is, I forget) but if we're the only ones lets add some skills and play with advanced teams!

Works for me as I've not used any of them before. Also, we have a time table for 5 rounds so we can do lots of things. May equal the total number of games I've played so far unless I get busy.

OK I had this problem last year. GenCon site is confusing. I need to reg for FF and Elfball before I leave on vacation (ie I need to do it today). where on that blasted site is it?

Is that representing Lycanthrope, Me and one other?
Is there somewhere we could advertise it? Maybe BGG, or TBB?
I would be happy to post about it at BGG, both in the game entry and a relevant forum.

Event signup ends tomorrow ... so if you are going to post an announcement ... you'll need to hurry.
As for the event ... if it is small the first year that will not bother me.
We'll advertise it in our booth as well and folks could use generic tickets to play in it if they wish.
