GenCon next yearMy wife asked about Impact putting flyers, coupons, etc. into the give-away bags at GenCon next year. What does it take to get something into those bags?

How about giveaways at your booth. I think Impact Lanyards would get noticed especially if someone were to drop some off at the FF tournies. Thats atleast 45-60 people wearing them all weekend.

Have you thought about putting a flier and a coupon in the box, advertising like 10% off with your order? Maybe make them have a serial number on them that they can include with their online order to get the discount.
Here's the thing about mark downs people pay less attention to how much the percentage off is and more to how it is marketed to them. Every year Iowa has a "tax free" day for back to school sales.
It's moronic and people flock to the stores for the "BIG SALE" (sorry if any of you do this but at least admit it if you do. )
Well my wife is a store manager and she has to stock a huge full staff for the day when everything is essentially 7% off because of no tax. Well the next weekend nobody is out shopping and they have a huge sale where things are marked down an average 25-50% but she only has a couple on staff because nobody comes.
Everybody gets so excited about "tax free" because it feels like it's doing something wrong. Just like duty free shops in airports...what good is duty free when a Snickers bar costs $1.50?
Anyway, the point is: slip something into the boxes or team sets and make it look like they are getting something exclusive and special and give them 10% off and they'll spend 50% more than what they would normally.

As far as lanyards are concerned, obviously the more Impact orders, the cheaper they get. Not sure if you can get a run of 100. Usually, I see orders of around 250.
