Get yerself a Myspace.I know it's cheesy but it can't hurt. Throw some pictures up there Drop some key words into the descriptions. Miniatures, games etc....maybe even say something like. "We got a lot of Games being designed down in our Workshop!" or "We make a Blood promise that our game is a Bowl of fun!"
Yadda yadda yadda. Takes five minutes and it's free. Do it!

I was thinking about this myself lately, as well as other free social networking avenues (LiveJournal, etc.). So I was doing searches for the proper spellings of "bl__d b_wl" on some of those sites to see what kind of presence already exists for that game... and got a good laugh out of the MySpace search. Of course, like any good websearch nowadays, you get a box of Google advertising links at the top of your search results page, followed by your actual results list.
The good: Impact! was in the group of Google ad links!
The bad: Google must've assumed I can't spell when I typed in my search words, and put Impact! in some ... let's call it "questionable" ... company!
Have a look:

But seriously, it might not be a bad idea. While the miniatures/gamer presences on sites might currently be rather small (I think we still tend to congregate more on forums like here, TBB, FoD, CMoN, etc.), sites like MySpace and LJ are huge communities overall that certainly aren't going anywhere anytime soon.
I like LJ better, personally, and in addition to my actual friends' blogs I use its RSS feeds for webcomics, news, etc. to be able to keep up with as much stuff in one spot as I can. Even simply copying the initial announcements from the News&Releases threads here into LJ entries would give someone another avenue to subscribe and stay abreast of the happenings via an outlet, like LJ, that they're already using, anyway. And the entries there could link people back to the forums here for discussion, and of course the profile would be linked back to the main site.
While I'm not as personally keen on MySpace, the number of friends I have working there at all levels of the organization has forced me to stick with it and I have to admit, however begrudgingly, that they've made a lot of nice improvements (at least to the site, if not the quality of the average user ). But on MS you can take advantage of the picture galleries, general news threads could be transcribed into blog entries, with product release announcements specifically going out as bulletins.
Like DL said, I don't think that a few minutes to set up some other free outlets of spreading the word about the company, just like the cool new Wikipedia page, could be a bad idea. Even if no one befriends an Impact! LJ profile or follows any MySpace blog entries, nothing would be have been lost except a bit of time to set them up. And "a bit of time" might not actually be that small a thing, knowing how busy you guys already are, so hell, I'd be willing to donate my time to set such things up, if you'd like.

Impact! has an LJ account ... set it up in January ... just haven't done anything with it.
Although copy our News releases to it makes a lot of sense and I'll work on that.
I need to check out MySpace.

I think that having LJ pull News posts automatically via RSS is something that would require a paid account, so this is something that might still have to be done by hand. Also, a couple LJ communities off the top of my head in which you might consider making a post or two: mini_painter and gencon.
I think some people on the CoolMiniOrNot forums had organized, or at least tried, a MySpace painting group a while back; I'll try to take a closer look into that.
Hey, speaking of: the CMoN forums are definitely another place I'd consider cross-posting your News items. A heavily trafficked site with a well-populated forum -- where forum News posts like ones you could make will go right on the front page of the main site -- of all mini painters definitely sounds like your target audience, whether or not they're specifically fantasy football fans. I have a feeling that association with some of the industry's famous names like Lamb and Keith could draw some attention over there, too.
