I just got hosed.Any eBay vets out there with any advice would be appreciated.
I sold my old beat up Bl00d B0wl 1st ed. for $10. (A little less than I wanted but not too much) When I used the eBay shipping calculator it comes up as $12 shipping to Australia and I charged the guy $11.
Well at the post office they charged me $21! I went back on eBay and checked with their calculator again, using the USPS's dimensions and it still comes up at $12! But on the USPS site it's accurate!
Does anyone know if I have ANY recourse for getting my money? I have basically given away my game for nothing.

write to the buyer and advise the situation.
If he says no, then do not sell it. Get the negative feedback and continue on.
It's not the end of the world. Everyone gets a negative eventually - warranted or not.

Now that is a great suggestion.

Well he'll see the price on the box. I did email him and basically asked him to pay for half the difference, since I consider this partially my fault.
But I also told him I wouldn't blame him if he didn't want to.
Well, it could be worse I guess.
