Order placed for Weather Gobbos, Siringit Team, Black Rock Team and an extra set of Hobimps.
Just blown my minis budget this month in one order and there's still more stuff that I want.
Just don't let my missus read this
Good Work Impact. I hope the new ranges sell well for you.

yeah great release galak! many thanks :)
just one question, do you get one koala and wepeon option hands or is it multiple koalas??
|
Tomba

Not sure if it's intentional or not, but Motty the commentator is showing as 'sold out'.
Is this is mistake or is he not available?

There's two. The limited guy in his pants, and the new guy in the sheepskin coat who is also showing as sold out. I'm assuming Tomba was referring to the latter.

Correct.
I have the other limited edition one,and quite fancied the Motty one, having met the inspiration...

its one Koala with 2 left arms (standard and bomb), 2 right arms (standard and knife) and a two handed chainsaw. So 5 possible variations. Could be a good magnet mini.

Not to create more work, but a Balck Widows team with the naga is possible? or do we just order the team and the nag?

and now although I find Motty in the store, I find no mention that I also part sculpted it..
Tom, really, I expect better of you..

And yes ... I will get a BW team deal but with a Naga. Also have some other Siringit Team Deals to post.

Out of interest does the sculptor of the Norse runner have plans to do any more? Because I would be exceedingly interested in a full team along those lines, he is an extremely nice mini.

Norse

he took 18 months to do the first one, how much time do you have?
in all sincerity, we do hope to commission one or two other figs along the same lines from him, but it will not be soon..

That's a pity, it's really nice.

I'm a happy bunny. My order turned up today.
Thanks Impact.
The Siringits are really superb. The Tantor in particular is a fantastic model. I've always been fascinated by African animals. I suppose it's due to growing up in the seventies watching 'Survival' documentaries (remember them) and repeats of the Tarzan TV Series starring Ron Ely. Johnny Weismuller Tarzan Movies were also a staple of kids TV. Don't even get started on Born Free and Daktari.

Saw even more more Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom.
So much so that we used to spoof it in college with skits. Example of one I still remember we did as a two man skit:
| Quote: | Hi I'm Marlin Perkins and I'm here relaxing in my comfy chair with my Mai Tai in the shade while this native village girl performs oral pleasure on me.
Oh wait look ... Jim ... in the river ... yes I know its 120 degrees F out there but Jim you must save that baby ocelot that is stranded in the river.
Jim will need to really swim to get to that ocelot ... Yes Jim has reached the baby ocelot ... Jim better watch out for the razor sharp claws of that little guy (cue sounds of Jim screaming in the background). I hope Jim hurries ... the river is swelling and getting nasty ... (cue background of Jim calling Marlin names not writable on this forum). Ah Jim is almost back across the river with the baby ocelot ... Oh dear, Jim better watch out for that hungry crocodile! (cue much more back Jim screaming and making choice comments about Marlin's anatomy and ancestors). Oh well while Jim deals with that situation ... would you like to protect your family like a mother lion protects here cubs ... then you should check out Mutual of Omaha. |

Well that decides it then. I have been on the fence with the Siringit: great sculpts but the team doesn't fit my playstyle. But if buying them gets me one step closer to my Sarcos team, then it's time to place an order

Yep, I like them a lot and have received them yet!!!!!
Let's see how sales perform. The only "but" is that it is difficult to adapt them to the "other game", but as miniatures they are great.

*Laughing* I remember Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom as well. Jim, Stan and there was one other guy, the barfoot Aussie in the early 60s. . .

I have already placed my order. ;)
Knowing that the sales of the Siringit team will possibly help sculpt the Sarcos team... brilliant!
Looking forward to painting these guys when they arrive. I know it's hard to use them in the 'other' game, but it has just prompted me to try playing Elfball on my customs game table... with some help from some of the guys on this forum, it works great!
Ben.
