So what do you you have to do to win this prize. Well as of April 24th 2007 Impact! Miniatures had been officially open for 1 year.
During this time we've chosen to fast pace the growth of the company and now have over 100 unique items in our store with around 50 more on the way in the coming months.
So what did the first year of Impact! cost? How much money did Impact! pay out in expenses to run the business in the first year? The closest guess will win and I'll let the contest run until May 3rd. Bottom line for me is that public companies have to reveil this information all the time so to me its not really a huge secret to be not discussed and it will make a fun contest as I am really curious how much our loyal forum members think it cost to run this little company that is trying to scratch a place for itself in the mini world.
Guess MUST be in British Pounds (if you are a Yank (like me) ... the exchange rate has averaged around $1.95 US per British Pound over the last year).
Closest guess (and going over is fine) will win and one guess per a login. New logins made AFTER this announcement may not participate in the contest.  (oh and people with the logins Valen and Norse are also disqualified from guessing  )
Oh and no screwing over someone's elses vote by voting each a few pounds more or less then them ... keep this friendly guys.

I track all of expenses in GBP for Impact! so I need the guess in GBP please. Using average of 1.95 it would be 25,641 GBP.

I'll leave Norse's leather chap bill for him to sort out, but take the mount you've spent on Impact! so far, times it by the number of different items you have in the store at the moment, and that's how many pints he drank at the last tournament.
$35,000, so that's $17948.72.
Let's call it £18,000.

The correct answer was 29998 GBP.
So the winner is Bonehead who guessed this number first (will 2 GBP from this number) ... but because I feel generous ... I'll hook Frank up as well with "something" as he guessed this amount as well (next year ... I'll have to remember to put rules in about whether you can guess an already guessed number ).
An expensive first year for a small company and my guess is we will easily spend that much or more in our 2nd year.
Thanks again to everyone who helped Impact! get off the ground our first year ... save up your pennies because this second year is going to be real important to if this operation is a go or not. We really need to make a profit in our second year ... so we'll wait with held breath and hope that happens.
