Impact! is 2 years old today80% of businesses fail in their first 2 years so we've hit a milestone.
Now we still haven't sold more than we've spent in total over the last 2 years but that's because we haven't taken time to take a breath. We also seem to be funneling money as soon as we have any into the next cool project instead of paying any to the partners ... 
What has this resulted in ... we have the second largest range of miniatures for fantasy football on the market which has a very very good chance of becoming the largest by our 3rd anniversary. We are also one of the most inexpensive providers of these figures ... something we take great pride in even if it means it takes us longer to see the black financially.
We have multiple high end products custom made for Impact! to go with the figures .... from the Elfball board game to the custom cut team carrying cases. Added to this are the other products we carry to just make your team better ... the different sized magnets and Slater's numbers are all new within the last year.
Growth:
While Impact! is still in the red overall ... I'm very happy with how we are doing.
Our total sales in 2007 were triple what they were in 2006.
Our first four months of 2008 are double what our sales were for the first four months of 2007.
So the 3 Impact! partners remain hopeful that in 2007 we'll change from the red to the black overall as a company. In fact ... I'll already let you know that the order that does this we'll knock 100 GBP off its price (or give it to that person free) ... however this won't be happening overnight.

Our focus as a company has remained the same since we started. We wanted to assist the fantasy football community as best we can. That included recently with the Impact! partners coughing up 2500 GBP to start up BBFigs.com as a way to try to keep all fantasy football games as healthy as possible. BBFigs.com is not even one month old yet and already is running fully as its own company without need for extra captial contribution. In under one month we've been able to order all the figures needed to stock 10 of the official 24 teams and if it keeps rolling I believe that within its first four months it will have managed to fully stock its inventory with all 24 teams and I'm very hopefully that within 6 months it will pay the partners back their investment in it. (the beauty of having a company where you have a stopping point for buying things (unlike Impact! )

Elfball:
The game is now 8 months old ... we've had two very good reviews of the game from online services. Version 5.1 which came about from feedback from the players is a very solid game and I love where we ended up. I've heard nothing but good things about this game from folks that have played the newest version.
With that in mind .... we do look at the idea that someday we might spend the 25000 GBP we'd need to spend to have the game fully changed to a high end product (in terms of the box) that a company like Toys 'R Us might carry on the shelf. But that's a dream for another day at this point and I've promised Norse to work on a special project with him before we even touch this subject.
We hope over the next year to release rules for Boulder Brawl of this game that can be played on two styles of mat. This will be an Elfball variant that I worked on while on vacation this spring. Elfball without an elfball ... but I think it will still be fun and fast paced. Looking forward to your feedback when this comes out.

It's come a LONG way since I was trying not to buy a load of Phils Phigs off Gav in Newquay in the first August (managed it too, only to give in and order them as soon as I got home ).
A great company that deserves it's success for it's attitude and commitment, and for actually listening (the initial discussion for Gnomes and the weaponry, and then seeing what came out of it is a great example). Add to that the best FF team around in the shape of the Pharoahs and the coming of the Siringit and things look great!
You never know, maybe one day Impact! will pay the partners back

If you give the order which is the first to give you a net profit away for free, surely you make a loss and therefore it will be the *next* order (or the next few) which actually take you into the black.
There's a nasty paradox which could easily occur, leaving Impact in a perpetual debt hole, never quite reaching profit...
Just kidding- really, REALLY well done guys- I may even take the plunge with Elfball soon- I nearly bought a copy off Tritex at the MonkeyBowl, and have just read the pdf of the rules, just waiting for the next pay packet...

Acknowledged ... I'm going to bend reality a bit ... if I don't give the person the order for free until a couple more orders come in than the paradox is avoided.
