Impact! New Releases for GenCon 2009 (complete list)
Okay Ted ... GenCon info: 1) Nuthin' But Net will be for sale. $15 per a copy of the game. I'd don't think we'll be organized enough this year to be demoing it but we will have it for sale. 2) Our entire product line will be for sale at GenCon. We have a smaller booth this year ... but we do plan on bringing at least 10 of everything. 3) We'll have all 4 of the Gale Force 9 Warmachine Terrain for sale in our booth significantly discounted (33% or more) from the $95 price they originally sold for by GF9 last year before being discontinued. 4) We will have the RollJordan Horned Frog team (no Big Frogs from him yet). Along with his Werewolf and some of his other figures. 5) Here are the new figure releases for GenCon that we have not already shown (I'm going to have a section for new releases on the shelf so they are not buried this year). Elfball Dungeon Tiles ($50.00) includes all pieces shown This is a trial run of this product ... we currently only have 9 sets and not sure if we'll get more 
Elfball Cards ($10.00) Each turn a player takes one card from the deck. When the deck is empty the game is over (includes a system to break ties). Makes Elfball a fixed time game per a test. 
Bertha Giantfist ($14.00) .... shown next to Vampiress Thrower (she will sell with a Prone/Stunned token included)

Dungeon Tiles ... I'm willing to sell these ahead of GenCon to folks that actually take the time to stop by the Impact! forums.
If you want a set the price is $50 USD. Shipping cost is: $10.00 USD for USA $14.00 USD for Canada $16.00 USD for anywhere else in the world I have 2 of the 9 sets sold ... so if you know you definitely are going to buy one ... you might want to get them now before they are all gone. by "side project" Tom means "Norse figured there may be a need for these and organised it behind my back before sending me the bill "  
they are made of heavy card stock with a felt backing - in addition to the floor tiles, you also get 6 numbered trapdoors (1-6).. I have no idea why I thought they might be of use though.. I must have been drinking again.. 
sadly, the company we worked with to manufature them experienced some production issues after making the sets, so unlikely we will get more (and even if we did, unlikely it would be at this price!). All images used were originals and have not been "lifted" from anywhere else.. R |

I received my dungeon today. Yippee! It looks fantastic and the felt on the back is very nice. I was just wondering though about the surface, it is not "sealed" it isn't shiny and smooth like the elf ball board. does any one know a way I could seal it (save it from any inadvertent drops of liquid on the board) without any image degradation?
Though I will say the "rougher" surface does help hold the trap doors and pit in place well. Now I just need an opponent to try to figure out how to adapt this to elfball... Also I have noticed the slight friction between the felt of each board piece helps them stay together better and not slip along the edges of each piece as easily. |

Krylon Low Odor Matte Finish.
Gloss sealers can dissolve certain types of glue. |

Which, despite the name, still smells to high heaven but it smells less than the Krylon Matte Finish :-) DL, any reason not to use the regular Matte Finish? I've found that it provides a much flatter finish that the Low Odour version. For anyone who is curious, the Krylon sprays are designed to be used by artists and so are formulated and tested on paper, backing boards and that type of thing. |

The low odor still stinks but theoretically it dissipates better.
I assume the regular stink flavor would be okay too. Avoid gloss tho, for sure. |

Spent all yesterday programming my little heart out to add these fixes. I think I've just about got it figured out ... as soon as that is added ... I also included a way for me to very quickly update and add in new products to the store with the same code ... so the new stuff will show up very shortly. If you did not buy the SSB Limited Edition Orc Thrower ... we sold a lot of them at GenCon and Zlurpee ... so there are not many left ... just a heads up on that. BTW ... Our current release schedule for Impact! looks like this: October: Lord Dorian and Spider Smith for BBFigs.com; Buggers and Deathroller from Rolljordan November: Headslicer for Impact!; Frog sprues for BBFigs.com December: 4 new Hobimps and Backstabber January: Type OH! Beauty and Pumpkin Queen February: Treasure Chest; Bomb sprue and Chaotic Marauder #3 March: Black Widows Hunter #2; Night Elf Striker #2 and #3; Night Elf Hunter #2 and #3 (subject to changes ... but this is the current plan) We hope to slowly release new items to the market without the mass releases we've had in the past. Great sculpts. My only concern is how well these will go with the rest of the team.
Rex, and the other "edits" done by Phil Bowen really worked with the original Phil Lewis sculpts, scale and all. They have a real strong 2nd edition feel to them, which is one of the things that appeal to me the most about the All-Stars. Dorian's pose is a little more dynamic and the detailing is greater than anything I'm familiar with in the 2nd edition. He looks a lot like one of Granny's current vampires. The picture of the Spider green is at an odd angle and in pieces. Can't really tell much, but it looks like a good fit. Being 2nd ed scale will be the key selling point for me. All in all I do like them and I will be picking them up, regardless, to increase the size of my team. Keep up the good work, guys! |

I'm confused, as the pics for Dorian is the unreleased Vamp Lord that Steve B did, which was changed for the Grandma Wendy Vamp team. Does that mean someone has mad another conversion of the unreleased fig to represent Dorian? | ||||

Yes. This was the original, but Grandma Wendy decided he needed a helmet. A resin copy was made and kept by the sculptor, and they put a helmet on him and sold him as part of the vampire team. I will of course pick up these two, but agree with Aerofool's worries. They are starting to look a bit too good now, to blend in perfectly with the original Chaos All-Stars team. Watch out Galak; keep the quality down! (yes, seriously) (And also watch out for the height/size of the new players) With the best intentions Brage97

I'm sure that Tom posted somewhere to say that further Chaos All-Stars (past and present) would be made for gifts at the Chaos Cup Who or what these future releases will be is anyones guess but we are already covered through till 2012 with the current ones scheduled |

I want the 10 Figure set but don't really want an order for over 100 GBP worth of miniatures sent in the post. We have had some industrial action by postal workers disrupting post in the South of the UK.
@ Gav, are you going to Rocketbowl in Leicester at the end of October? If not is there someone you know that could bring the 10 figs with them and I can pay them in cash? |
