Impact!'s GenCon Releases

Thanks to Zac at TabletopGamingNews.com we have a nice summary of many of the items releases by Impact! at GenCon this year that will be showing up in the store this week.

Zac's internet name pretty well everywhere, but TGN and Vancouver Gamer's is pixelgeek :D

They are looking nice, think I will pick up the sunbathing goblin.  In fact there is almost enough Goblins to use them as Weather Tokens!

What has happened to the rest of the Siringit team?  I still have not seen an official release for the Hyena & Lion and can not find them in the store?

Coincidentally enough, there are exactly enough Goblins to use them as weather tokens in another game... therefore, I'm expecting that they'll only be sold as a set. Try looking at Stout's gallery for them here:

I know I've seen the Lion posted somewhere before and while I can't find it now, the camera pauses on the Lion at the 29-second mark of the video, and then moves back to the Hyena, which Dark Lord has also posted it before on this page:

Aye, the goblins come in a 5 pack. They are great.

One covered in snow like a snow man.
One wearing nice clothes.
One absolutely sweltering in a garden chair with a big drink.
One wearing the full rain cap and rain coat.
One wearing sunglasses shielding his eyes from the sun.

The siringit is all released now. I don't know about pics at this time but if you give Galak a few days they should be in the store.

They are well worth the wait so have a little patience

I can see myself getting free postage on my next order since I shall add the Goblins too!   I shall check back next week and see if they are all in the store.

I also want to order the Weather Goblins and the full Black Rock team including the other two Dwarfs and the Centaurs. Are these going to be up this weekend as well?

If there's going to be a delay, I'll order the Siringits now. If the others are going to be up soon I'll order them all together.

Sorry to be impatient.

Yep. I'm up for the other two Dwarves as well.
Also, are the Siringit Gorillas Bull Centaur size? And, what size is the Rhino? I am assuming the elephant is BG size.

Easiest thing to do for this is to look at this as this is the size reference chart that Clint used to make the sculpts.

Its not perfect .. but on the store if you click on the figures you are interested in ... you'll see that it lists the sculpt's height to the eye (which you can then compare to the chart to see how it might have changed).  The Gorillitaur is a bit larger and the Elephant ended up more compact (but still huge).

That chart is actually pretty awesome!  I really wish all teams across all companies had one of those -- heh, maybe that's a new project to suggest for Traveller? ;)

Black Rock and the Siringit are both up? Hell, I've been waiting for both of those.

Ah well, there goes my September hobby budget.

Edit: Ordered, now to stare at my mailbox everyday in anticipation.

it was a targetted submission from PF, our very enthusiastic French sculptor.. we never asked for it, it just arrived in the mail one day...
