LaminationSkulhedface took the reference cards to his work place and laminated them. It looks really great!
I don't know what it would add to the cost of the game but if anything else other people can read this and go laminate their cards too.

I wanted to laminate them ... but honestly ran out of cash to do this. (both to either get the machine or to pay to have it done as it would make the game cost over $50 each which I was told to NOT do no matter what).

I had mine laminated the day I got back from GenCon. It does improve the look.

yep i laminated mine at work too, but it just was big enough, our a4 laminating pouches, is your a4 bigger than our a4 perchance? :D
as an aside, im going to try to make myself a new marchcard set for when im out parading with the brass band andlaminate it, pity i cant get the workmates to play elfball rather than sell bags of cement and plumbing fittings and hammers
