MagicTheGrouping online, anyone interested? (free)Please forgive the title, I just figured that it cant hurt to rename the well known card game so it dosent get picked up too much (much like grandma wendy).Anyway, on FUMBBL several of us have started playing MagicTheGrouping using a very nice client that someone found. Currently we're having fun using sealed decks generated from Alpha and some assorted expansions (Legends, The Dark, etc). We're using those for friendlies and a league but we also had some fun the other night with a draw system (everyone has a different booster then takes a card and passes the booster on) which we have a nifty program for. There are 9 of us playing at the moment so there are enough people to find opponents but you certainly wont get lost among the crowds 
If you are interested, heres what you need to know: - everything we're using including all the cards is free - you ought to know roughly how to play or be prepared to sit down with the rulebook for a bit - you probably need a FUMBBL account (oh the horror, you'll be tainted  )
- theres a step by step installation guide, its relatively easy - we havent found any bugs yet, its streets ahead of javaBB in that respect - to join in the fun the best way is to post in our forum thread - despite being FUMBBLers we are nice, we might even welcome you |
