Lovely mini, lovely paint job. This one is a genuinely pleasant suprise.
One quick question, what's with the front hand? I'm asking because I keep expecting it to be palm facing forward, fingers vertical "pushing" hand. Anyone able to intepret why his hand is as it is (and settle my mind)? Is he playing touch rugger?

I interepted the pose when Tom Mason sculpted it as a player about to leap in which case the reaching hand makes sense.
I think it would be very easy to bend the fingers up to make it more of a classic stiff arm pose.

I had a lot of fun painting this guy up, glad he came out well, especially as he only took around 3 hours.. just decided to go nuts and see if I could pull it off.. as I hardly paint at all these days, it was a relief to see I can still do stripes!
and DL, despite the team colours, I will always be a proud member of the Dutch team, even when they no longer require my services.. once Orange, always Orange.. the only people who can pick and choose their nationality are the Irish I think..
now working on the ltd ed T5 set.. one down, 4 to go..

Ah well that's the beauty of America, isn't it. You can be Irish, German, Scottish and Mexican all at the same time.
No dual citizenship for you then eh? Ah well.

3 down, 2 should be finished tonight.. I expect pics online tomorrow or Thursday..
these 5 sculpts are all by one of my favourite sculptors, Fubar - I love the comedy he injects into his sculpts and I have enjoyed painting them more than just about any other project except perhaps my avatar...

That means I won't get to see them until saturday...when I'm actually AT Tulips...
I am thoroughly curious as to what they are, and whether my Chaos Human team will have any use for them (or failing that, my upcoming Ogre team, or my in-progress Gnolls...which I started this week and , in tribute to this thread, have stripes.)
