Norse pervertedly presents....

not an Impact! fig, but my attempt at doing a fetish type night elf team using SF elves.. I'm guessing this will not be everyone's cup of tea, but painting wet-look PVC is fun I must admit..

Your paintjob definitely makes the mini look better than the paint job on the sellers site. I like it.

Yes, I agree

Im liking the painting, how did you get the red like that? varnish? Though I dont like Shadowforge minis, they are sort of unsettling...
Norse

yes, gloss varnish over dark red paint seems to work a treat...

wet look here we go!
Sallacious

Love the nip slip there Norse. And the wet-look latex suit is great.

Typically great Norse paintwork there... just a shame to see it wasted on such an atrocious sculpt.

I quite like the figs actually..

but then this is how my missus dresses at the weekends, so I'm biased..

Well, we're certainly free to differ in opinion on matters of aesthetics; it's all good. Myself, I just think that "S&M female dark elves" were Neil's best theme idea... and his worst actual execution.

I'll assume from the smilies that you're kidding about the missus. But as a longtime resident of Los Angeles' large and diverse industrial/goth club scene, where fetish fashion is normal, my female friends really do dress like that on the weekends! (Though my actual GF chooses not to go quite that skimpy, herself, it's not because she couldn't pull it off if she wanted.) So I guess I really am biased, just in the other direction -- Neil could very well have gone to the pictures pages of the websites of any number of the clubs that I frequent to view models/inspiration for these figs (and chances are I'd have known half the subjects), I just don't think he pulled it off very well, personally.

But hey, they're your figures, right? So as long as you like them, that's all that matters... and nothing you can do about the sculpts, anyway -- but again, your paintwork is top-notch as always!
