Special Impact! Figure

Certain figures don't match Impact! company image for what we sell.  However we try to help out tournaments where we can.

Since the buyer of this figure posted about it recently (amazing what random Google searches will turn up ... I try to do random word mixes for Impact! once a week) ... I wanted to just show it off as I was really happy with how it came out.

If you really would like one ... they had about 8 left in March ... check out this thread for user axiom ... http://easternfringe.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=61349

When we do figures like this ... it is MUCH more expensive than the tournament figure deal we offer on our website.  This is because Impact! doesn't sell any.

Just wanted to mention it since it was now public.

Good looking fig,  I've got no use for it, but it's a good looking fig.  I could see Fen getting this one.

I saw it a while ago as I hang about on the Eastern Fringe (and Warseer), and while it is a lovely figure I decided not to chase after it because I'm on a fantasy dungeon crawl painting spree atm and I have no use for Eldar.

Just to be clear, It's fantastic.  I just don't have any use for it.

Hi all, I was the liaison between Tom and our campaign organisers on this fig and was planning on posting a showcase of some of the painted versions when I've received some decent pics from some of the attendees (note, this is a good prompt to get back to some folks and find out how they got on!).

I may as well say publicly that pretty much everyone was blown away by the fig - it was a perfect addition to our campaign weekend, and on behalf of myself and the other campaign organisers, we owe Tom and the rest of Impact a massive thanks for helping us to get the figure sculpted and cast.

This is the concept sketch I knocked up, and you can see that the result was a brilliant rendition into 3D by Patrick Keith

The one I've painted up so far is actually for my Eldar Necromunda gang, and as I had a spare, I couldn't resist just tweaking him. I'll be doing an unadulterated version in the near future, but for now, here's a painted pic:

There are still a couple of figures without a home which were left from the event and we're looking to sell them on for £8 each plus p&p. If anyone is interested, just drop me a PM or email jon_boyce AT hotmail.com

ps. Tom - tell me you were searching for Impact Miniatures rather than Eldar Nomad?! :)
