PuggyAs norse posted a model with stripes... i have to show you my latest try with stripes..
this is a pretty fast paintjob and the stripes in the front messed up under the spike, which i saw when i took the photo. :(

he looks good mate - as a general rule for stripes, I always paint black stripes first, and then a thinner stripe of dark colour then a final very highlight with the actual colour I want.. black oulines help define the stripe a little better.. though I grant you a halflings helmet is a very small space to work with!

Just to back up what Norse has written here's the #7 snot from my Ogre team. the blue lines and the white circle have been painted using the technique he's described. They're not that straight in truth but the black lines go a long way towards providing the illusion that they are, especially considering the scale.
If your puggy had helmet stripes black lined it would make a massive difference imo. Those stripes are the only dodgy part in a nice paint job.

Yup. i should just have spent more time with those stripes... it was a last minute addition to spice up the mini in some ways.
Spent more time with the logo on this fellas shoulderpad, but didn't have a good camera at the time to take a good photo. Should fix that some day.
