Easy really

Almost feel like giving up sculpting after seeing those...
Bonehead

WOW
Great to see a step by step like this one.
And the painted versions...wow again!
What's the scale of the mini?
Ewan

At a guess (to make me feel better) at least 50mm. If it's 28mm, I'm throwing in the towel! or will have to practice a lot more!
Chairface

Oy. Gorgeous! Thanks for the pics Ewan.
Ewan

No probs mate - When I saw them I was just

Had to share them.
Norse

Jesus H scupting-god Christ
fen

That's certainly a larger scale sculpt
Chairface

All things considered, taking away the cloak and the scale, he would make an awesome FF player. You guys should commision one. He'd sell like hotcakes :)

Was it this one? Rather nice

From FozzBozz site.

Grumbledook

whats that cast in?

i assume its not a one off due to the hooded version too

unless they were coloured in photoshop but it doesn't look like it

spose its easier to cast larger minis?
Ewan

No idea mate...
Darkson

Not bad, I suppose.

Grotuk

This sculptor is one of the best i know. He sculpet basicaly in 54mm so...i supose that this work is on this scale.

You can check other sculpts from this guy in Coolminiornot. His nickname is Freeman.

Also, he works for Andrea Miniatures...so i think he is not interested in comision works.

With the real names i dont know who are the painters...but probably they are a well known spanish painters. Im gonna make a research.
Grotuk

Ok, im so stupid :p

Its a work for Andrea. The new model of the Warlord Saga. So definetively 54 mm.

The painters are 2 pro painters from Andrea and both of them have many Golden Demons.

Also, the second painter, David worked for the Eavy Metal team in the past...if im not wrong :p

Their nicknames are: jmpn and karaikal.

Here is the original treath in the Spanish Team (the painters not the fantasy football players :p) Forum:

If you need some minor translation, ask me and i'll do my best ;)
Urb

I'm going to stick to painting. That way I only feel a little inept.
Thadrin

WANT ONE.

Dear God...it IS Vinter Raelthorne (Warmachine character)....

If you dont want order it from Andrea's website store and you are going to the Eurobowl I can bring you one.

And yes...he looks very similar to Vinter :p BTW...wich faction do you play? I play Khador...but im really noob
Thadrin

Didn't see it in their webstore. Will be patient.

I play Khador and Rhullic Mercs.
I'm just finishing off my first 500 point Troll army, and I'm working on Circle as well.
Bodhi

The one by Joaquin Palacios is 54 mm. But it's a truly impressive work. I hadn't seen a step by step before. Very useful

And...i just complete my first 500 points of Khador :p

Bodhi...this evening i'll post some links to others Joaquin works...also he posted some videos in the near past. He is a master sculptor.
Grotuk

Bodhi

For the most part I can only gape in awe but the way he made the foldlines on logans' trousers is very helpful and a tip I can even aplicate with my own meager skills. Thanks for the links
Joemanji

I think Impact! need to do a bit of poaching ...
Norse

sure, once we start playing FF with 56 mm models we'll be right in there for sure..

anyone have a snooker table we can use as a pitch?
Joemanji

Or you could ask him to sculpt in 28mm?!?

For 28mm you will prefer this guy:

http://personales.ya.com/gaelion/index.htm

Or also Ergman, the guy who sculpted the miniatures shown in "that" thread of TBB (ulfwerener, joker ref, chainsaw halfling and a mummy).
Grotuk

MMMMmmm..

Freeman is already sculpting on 28mm :S

Check this out:

Its absolutely amazing.

Painted version and more sculpts from the Warlord Battle Series from andrea:

The painters and the sculptor are telling that the elf's pictures looks much worse than in real life :S

yeah, not bad..
Joemanji

Pretty. Do these models actually go on sale, or are the Spanish keeping them for themselves?

You are evil (BTW, the Ulfwerener and so will be available in October-November for ALL the world :P)

They expect to have them available in October. Same as the 54mm on:

Andrea Miniatures
Bodhi

Seems to me "28 mm" is a VERY broad "scale". The figure (wizard?) held in the hand looks to be much closer to 35 mm than 28 mm. I doubt that I could put any of these next to a Hasslefree figure or one of my own (I use Hasslefree figures for size reference) without making them look really huge by comparison.
Wonderful sculpting anyway of course.
Grotuk

They sell them as 30mm

Anyway...it was just a reference that he can sculp smaller pieces and keep an amazing level.
Ewan

When I saw this, I thought "I'd like to buy that" Don't even own any Nappy stuff .

It's a study in caricature rather than a 'straight down the line' sculpt. The horses face is supposed to echo the face of Napoleon - just in case you guys thought the horses head looked funny.

If your interested, you can read more about that sculpt and the sculptor here -
