Space Hulk Returns?http://www.belloflostsouls.net/2009/02/rumors-space-hulk-returns.html& BGG Rumors If this is true then I will probably be lifting my boycott on Grandma Wendy products. The BBG stuff that "Grandma Wendy will do something it has never done before." Does that mean pre-painted minis? If so, count me in X2. The part that is making me doubt is that this seems completely outside of Grandma Wendy's normal behavior. I mean...actually producing one of their out of print board games that people love and made them the company that they are? Actually considering including pre-painted minis? Now the limited run, only in Grandma Wendy stores I can believe. I also can believe the price tag will be outrageous, so there's plenty of ways Grandma Wendy can still show me that they are indeed the clueless baffoons I suspect they have become. We'll see. |

This rumour's been going around for a while, and unusually, it hasn't been shown to be false, and I've heard snippits when at Grandma Wendy HQ to believe it's true, though I have no idea in what form.
I think that I and the club will probably get a couple of sets, though I hope there's not pre-painted figs. |

You could always paint over the pre painted fig. :)
I'm pretty excited about this as well, I just hope it is sold online so I don't have to make arrangements for someone in Chicago to pick one up for me. Anyone seen teh Bugmans game? Looks like it would be alot of fun to if I could get my hands on one without traveling to Nottingham. |

Yeah, but in those links it says that there was a presentation that leaked or was seen where the old logo morphed into the new one. It's all but been announced I guess. IF Grandma Wendy was smart enough to go to gencon they could announce and promote it there, but... 
I know that pre-paints will cause some gnashing of teeth...but can't y'all just buy a box of plastic marines and a box of plastic tyranids and get over it? It's not like unpainted versions don't exist. What is the problem? |

If it means I have to pay £x more for a boxset than I need to, then it's a problem. If it has basic plastic termies and 'stealers I'm happy. |

Maybe you didn't read where I said this would be a Grandma Wendy product? You ARE going to pay more than you need to no matter what is in the box. 
And you'll like it, or they won't let you into the tournament!!
I have even money that says it's over $100 no matter what is in the box. |

I know that, but there's paying extra cos it's Grandma Wendy, then there's paying extra cos it's Grandma Wendy AND pre-painted. Ands seeing as I'd not play it at a tourney, I couldn't are less if there's official figs or not (hewll, it might be time to break out my original blue plastic 'stealers and original metal termies...). |
