The Ogre(s)Been working in slow motion for some time now on an Ogre FF team. Got to thinking I would like to be able to use them in Elfball but there isn't a team list for them.
Looked over the Orc Team list but the Elfball Orcs use a troll rather than an Ogre for their "Large Guy" team mate.
Since Impact! already sells the Side Impact Heresy Ogre why not fit them into Elfball? They could be both "Large Guys" for Orcs or other teams as well as stand alone teams with options for team lists with and without Imps.
I did see the spot in the Middle Kingdoms team list:
0-2 Ogres/Cyclops/Minotaurs 5 5 4 2 1 4 Monster
but I would like to make one minor change to:
Ogre 4 5 5 2 1 4
and perhaps some specialists for the Ogre Teams.
Ogre Thrower/Catcher 5 4 4 2 2 4 Throw/Catch
So then, the North Coast Nasties might have the following teamlist:
0-4 Imps 7 2 2 5 3 2 Little Guy
0-4 Ogre 4 5 5 2 1 4
0-1 Ogre Thrower 5 4 4 2 2 4 Throw
0-1 Ogre Catcher 5 4 4 2 2 4 Catch
While the South Shore Slashers might use this teamlist:
0-8 Ogre 4 5 5 2 1 4
0-2 Ogre Thrower/Catcher 5 4 4 2 2 4 Throw/Catch
Ok, thats my two cents worth, the Heresy Ogres in various combinations of parts can make six distinct Ogres in a kajillion poses so you COULD make a team on the strength of just one character.
Another option might be a "Large Guy" all star team made up of any combination of Ogres, Cyclops, Minotaurs ect. . .

*ACK!* Can you move this thread to Suggestions, somehow I got it in the wrong forum.

Ogres = Gnome Contraptions
Snotlings = gnomes
Play EB with your FF Ogre team all you want. I'mj going to use this equation in reverse for a Street Ogre team.

Hi Thom ... topic moved.
Our Gnome team was Elfball's attempt at trying to do a fun big guy / little guy team.
However I wanted them to be truely different so the fun comes from the little guys being tough despite their size and the big guys being strong but very fragile.
This creates a very different feel for the team on the pitch from other versions of such a team in other games where the little guys break while the nigh-unstoppable big guys raise havoc unless stopped by their own nega-traits.

I can understand your reasons, but now that I am working on a mega cool Ogre team I wanted legit rules to play them with!
