Top Quality Brushes At A Good PriceHi all
I just recently purchased some Hand Made Series 33 Pure Kolinsky Sable brushes from Rosemary and Co in the UK and am so impressed that I thought I would let you all know what they are like.

I priced other kolinsky Sable brushes, Vallejo, here in Australia and found they were more expensive than Rosemary's, even with currency conversion and postage. The 17.5% VAT was dropped as I was an overseas buyer.
Rosemary's cost me AU$40 where as Vallejo would have cost me over AU$50.
I purchased sizes 10/0, 2/0, 0, 1, 2. with standard handles, you can get long handles too.
The brushes arrived the other day and the quality is superb, the feral is neatly matched to the handle with a very slight ridge.
The sizes are very much the same as Vallejo except the 10/0 it is more like 7.5/0, all have very fell formed fine tips.
The bristles are slightly firmer than Vallejo but not to the point of being stiff, the firmness gives very goog tip control.
The handles are slightly shorter than other brushes and does not taper a lot giving them a somewhat stumpy look, they feel great in the hand though and are very well balanced.
They seem to know how much paint they can hold, although if you try they can be overloaded, the tip splays if you do this. The paint flows consistently through the tip.
After cleaning there is little to no effort required to return them to their original shape, in fact they did not go out of shape, but if you really wanted to you could probably make them.
Overall I give them a big and recommend you check them out if you are after some good quality brushes, either to replace your old ones or just because you want some.
Rosemary and Co make brushes for many types of painting and mediums, I am going to get my mum some water colour ones for Xmas.
Cheers
