Typical Shipping Time?

I made an order, shipped to the US on July 20th. Typically, how long does an Impact order take to arrive? I live in an apartment complex, and have a vacation coming up, I just want to make sure my order doesn't arrive while I'm gone and sit at my front door for a week. Thanks!

Lost my job of 18 years and shipments were delayed as I've tried to sort through that mess ... sorry.

Heading to the post office today to ship everything since the 20th to today.

Seriously now trying to decide if I can run Impact! full time as my job or if I need to go get something to replace what I have. My severance goes through the end of this year so I have a little bit of time to decide.

Very sorry to hear that news Tom and I can remember the occasions when you have simply disappeared off forums and the like to pull down huge hours for your work. As somebody who also has had to work very long hours at times the one thing that I have been forced to learn is that the only person who ultimately cares about you in a work sense, is you.

So maybe this is a silver lining moment (easy to say when you don't have kids or a house and things like that) but I was just talking to this about my girlfriend who has had to make many people redundant (just part of her job sadly) and she has yet to meet one person who in the long run things didn't work out for the best.

Chin up mate and I can only hope that Impact is able to go from strength to strength and you are able to spend your time doing something that you really want to be doing.

My wife has told me that if I can pay off both our cars with Impact! profit for August than she will agree to me trying to run Impact! full time.

And yes Dark Lord ... running Impact! full time is my dream job. But I just lost a $108k a year job and have a house mortgage that is based on that type of salary so moving from that to a salary based on Impact! will be a MASSIVE change ... and I'm just not sure if this little company has enough legs to pay even the severely reduced amount that we could aim at living with. The next few months will tell the tale.

If not ... if anyone knows of a place that can use a work from home yet willing to travel on occassion expert level ACL computer programmer with 18 years experience who has supervised for 8 years the most senior and highly rated group of 5 programmers in his firm of thousands ... let me know.

Oh and my wife's mother has been a trip.

See we've gone to Disney twice a year for the last 6 years. Total amount spent by the Anders family on vacations per a year ... around $10k. (I've grimaced hard whenever I've paid those bills every time thinking about other things it could be spent on).

Anyway ... I talked to my wife and told her ... no more big vacations. Not unless she wants to get a part time job and save up for them which would be very doable. My wife has Lupus which makes it difficult for her to work a full time job so she does not have a job at this time.

When my wife's mother heard I had told my wife that any money she mades was her's to use however she wanted (including a family vacation if so desire to Disney) she went nuts. "You tell that husband of yours that if his running Impact! cannot afford to take you all vacation then he needs to get his ass out and get a "real" job!" ... sigh ... I know a lot of kids that are probably very happy that they've been to Disney once (if even that). So let's just say that the mother-in-law is not supportive at this time.

The box arrived today, thank you! I really hate to be a big pest, but one final problem. I ordered and paid for a Werewolf safety, but he didn't come in either package. I hate to make you go through any more trouble, but if you could send him to me, that would be great! I just realized I'm out of 40mm bases...any way you could throw an order of those in too? I can paypal you the extra dough. Thanks!
