Upcoming Minotaur from Impact!Since its been so quiet here lately ... I thought I'd give a sneak peek at the new Minotaur that we have coming out very soon.
The sculptor is Pierre Francois Jacquet from France (who also sculpted the Dwarf team we have coming out soon).
This is just one of the 5 heads that this Minotaur can come with. You'll be able to purchase him with a specific head or with all 5 heads. In just several minutes of work I was able to use a 1/8" bit in a Dremel to drill out the body and then each of the 5 heads and glued 1/8" neo magnets that Impact! will soon carry in each of the 6 holes (do the body first and then double check the polarity before the glue harden). Now I can choose the head for mine that I want to use for EACH game he plays in. (I'm doing the same technique with the arms and cockpits for my Contraptions for the Gnome team).
Enjoy
Tom @ Impact!
Note: Currently missing a picture of the 5th head based a Texas Longhorn bull

Nice!
I really like the pose. looks great for FF games.
the only aspect I'm not over keen on is the size and shape of the shoulder pad.
Other than that its an awesome figure.

I really like it.
My only critique could be the size of the hooves. I would like to see them a bit over sized like the shoulder pad and fists.
I really like it! It's about 1000 times better than the last 2 Grandma Wendy minos!!

I think I like the middle head best.
The pose is rather dynamic but still compact. Nice.

For me there is just something about the 2nd Ed Skay-ven head and the one with the band-aids. Very nice.
Just out of curiosity will that 2nd Ed rat head fit proportionally on the body of say...a Bl00d B0wl Rat Ogre?

I recently picked up a team's worth of Rackham's awesome chaos-style evil dwarf and goblin figures super-cheap on clearance, and have been wondering what I'd get to use with them as a Minotaur (as the Rackham 'taur, at clearance discount, was still ~$20)...
Question answered -- awesome figure!
Now, when you say "very soon," would that by chance fall within my "already taking a week or two while putting together a large group order" range of soon, as in being able to include this guy in such an order?
Also, I'm trying to guage his overall size: is that a 30mm or 40mm base that he's on?

Have to agree with DL, the hooves are a little small for my liking, but nothing a bit of conversion work wouldnt cure!
I like the middle head best too
Looks really good! Looks like you unearthed a real gem of a sculptor Tom!

Great looking figure Galak!
My favorite head is the one that is on his body right now. Good sculpt.

I'll send you a PM on this, but yes all of the stuff we have at the caster should be addable to your group order.

And DL ... I do think that head would fit on a Rat Ogre without much conversion.

Brownrob ... I do agree that if you really wanted bigger hooves ... it should take too much effort with the sculpting exopy of your choice to give him that feature.

Good looking fig. Not so keen on heads #2 and #3 - a little to "cartoony" for my liking, but then I have to say most minos for FF look to "cartoony" imo.
Head #1 ideal for a RO, as DL said, though I'm not sure it fits in with the mino properly.
I won't pass judgement on #4, as I can't se enough on the pic, and #5 - well, anything I say will be guesswork!
But a very nice fig for all that!

That's a really nice minotaur figure. For a minotaur I like the middle head best but I probably try doing what Dark Lord sujested with the first head.
