hey all, i want to build a squad of rodents, but the rodents i want are not rats. my fave college football team is the Michigan Wolverines, and i want to build a squad with minis that are wolverines. has anyone seen a mini(s) that might work as a wolverine, perhaps a badger or a small bear? my experience with painting/modeling is zero otherwise i would make my own.

You could do a lot worse than the Gnoll figures that this very company produces...

Team Frog (Crunchy Frog) has the Critter Commando line which has these Raccoons.  http://www.teamfrog.com/images/tfsccra01.jpg

While SciFi/War Game themed you might be able to use them for conversion.

I bought a team's worth thinking I might use them as Slann.  Started painting and never finished. I might pull them out again and see if there's anything else I can use them for. Can't remember what mix of positions I bought...I do have one painted as part of my mixed Evil generic Fantasy Football team, to be used in place of a beastman. If I ever wanted to use the CoM rules that Draco and iirc Norse came up with.

Heh, with this subject line I just had to come in and see what was up.  But sadly, I don't have many suggestions for wolverine-animal-style figures; the problem I see with the Gnolls is they're too long and skinny.  Whenever I finally get around to re-doing my Michigan Wolverines team, I'll still be using the multi-part humans, as they'll still be the real '97 Wolverines (I have the new set of parts for the team now, but it's still not likely to happen before the second half of next year, though, due to other projects).

A bunch of nuts wouldn't make a very good Fantasy Football team.

Actually, it turns out that in the coming month, Reaper will be releasing an animal pack that includes a wolverine:

BTW, the two triangles on the right edge of the pic are there for scale, marking the half-inch and inch points.
