hi all, i have been aware of this game for awhile but i finally have had the time to start playing so i purchased a box at gencon. i havent played that other football game, but i always wanted to but this seemed a bit more fun when i read about it. i had some questions if anyone could help out.

1. i see frog figs but no stats for frog teams, are there official stats somewhere or are the frogs custom/home rules?

2. a friend of mine wants to run a team that just kills for the win, is this a good option and what team would you suggest?

3. how much time does a typical game run if we play best 2/3 tests?

thanks all

Use the Sarcos rules for this team.   If we ever come out with a next edition of the game ... the Sarcos will be listed as Sarcos / Calasain (ie they have the same stats ... the Calasain being the frog team).

Your best bet for this is probably Deadling.

The goal of the game with experienced players is that this would take between 2 to 3 hours.  First time players ... this might take a bit.   What I would really recommend doing is buying a deck of the Elfball cards and uses these to create a timed version of each test that has a method for breaking ties.   This would do a LOT to keep a best 2 out 3 game to no more than 3 hours (2 hours if someone sweeps)

Divine Wind with Defenders and Hunters also very effective at killing for the win without suffering the loss of speed that deadlings do.
