Just saw Shrek the 3rd and honestly believe that if done right it could be an interesting figure.

Also, Reaper has done a long list of wraith miniatures that are non-corporeal but that I think have come out quite well. Just a few random examples of these are:

http://www.reapermini.com/gallery/2100s/2148_G
http://www.reapermini.com/gallery/2500s/2525_G
http://www.reapermini.com/gallery/2500s/2587_G
http://www.reapermini.com/gallery/2600s/2617_G

Now, I'm not saying that's exactly how a headless horseman figure should be done, but I do think they illustrate that figures can be done in similar ways that can be decent. I couldn't find a quick shot of how the Horseman was done in "Shrek 3" as Tom mentioned, but between Reaper's figures and shots such as these from the original "Legend of Sleepy Hollow" cartoon:

I think a Headless Horseman FF figure could have decent possibilities.

I'm picturing a running FF player in this mode.

So anyone have thoughts on what the large monster would be for the team ... (would the ZN Ulf work?) be nice if I could use that instead of trying to make something.

So we get:
2 Sack headed Scarecrows
2 Pumpkin Headed Hunters
1 Witch Thrower
1 Headless Horseman
1 ZN Games Ulf

That would be a fun looking team. Let us get some cash. Once I have some mad money I'll see if Illustranger can sketch up 6 figures for us (note to Melvin ... don't start yet if you read this ... I don't have the cash to pay for these yet ... but I like the idea and will work on it)

I'll look for pics later (off to work now), but the Doctor Who episode this weekend had some great scarecrows in it.

Would it be possible to use a dead tree for the big guy for this sort of team, and perhaps kills two birds with one stone with the Deadlings (am I correct in thinking they're supposed to get one of those?)?

We hope to have the Deadwood by August if possible ... not sure if we'll make that deadline.

I must have missed something... is the rest of the scarecrow team going to be around before August?

I'm looking forward to seeing that tree.

No, they're hoping to have the Deadwood big guy for the Deadlings by August. The scarecrow Halloween team is still just a concept discussion right now.

Perhaps include a couple of nooses that could be attached to the branches on the deadwood big guy. Make it more suitable for the Halloween theme.

Honestly these would be soooo easy to do with procreate or green stuff. I'm not sure I want to do the expense of the extra casting (which is pretty significant).

Procreate would work to or even a bit of wire wrapped around the branch. Just an idea I thought I would throw out to help set this deadwood apart from the one on the deadling team.

Would a flesh golem work or would that cut too close to a certain company?

Otherwise I would say a good scarecrow/halloweenie/horror team big guy would be grim reaper thing.
