No. You're right, the links aren't to the same thing that comes in the pack. They were selling it as a premium version. I don't mind the idea 'cos I've already got the rulebook so I'm aware that it's not essential. If I were seeing it with the game for the first time I'd probably feel different.

I have no problem with them charging premium price for a premium edition as long as they've made another version available for nowt in the book/online.

That doesn't mean I don't see your point though... and it's even more expensive over here btw! (and no, I don't own it)

I'll admit I did assume that was the official character sheet...knee jerk reaction to Grandma Wendy product I guess.

Still, it's still better than a lot of D&D products I have seen.

The only reason I am waiting on 4th Edition is so I can buy 3rd ed. stuff on the cheap!

That is, if people actually convert to it. I'm guessing a lot of people 25 and younger will buy up the new Ed. and love it...but those that have ever actually sat down at a table and played a REAL role playing session will stick with 3.5. (or a different system altogether if they really know anything)

On the subject of Grandma Wendy sucking... clap your hands if you spent a while this morning ammending the Dark Heresy book with the errata so you can read the bleeding thing and have it actually be correct...
